We had the lasagna and is was probably the best lasagna we’ve ever had. So delicious and full of flavour. Together with Chianti Riserva wine it is match made in heaven. It’s a small but hidden gem. Highly recommended!

Restaurant in the center of Castellina in Chianti, a cuisine with local products and in any case we are refined with fresh products! The service was excellent, the owner advised us what to eat and that the portions were generous to the detriment of his earnings as we took a with less flow this does it a lot of credit, few would have done it and we appreciated it! If we find ourselves in the area we will definitely come back to taste other delicacies!!!

A true gem. Best pasta I have ever eaten (and I have eaten many) and truly hospitable staff. Wonderful location on the square. One of the highlights of my vacation in Tuscany!

Il ristorante si trova all’inizio della piazza del Borgo di Castellina. Ha pochi tavoli che si trovano su una terrazza caratteristica. Il menu è tipico toscano, i piatti sono realizzati con materie prime che provengono dalle aziende locali. La qualità è ottima. La carta vini racconta di scelte eccellenti, anche se nel chiantigiano è difficile trovare etichette mediocri. I titolari sono molto cordiali, simpatici e genuini e contribuiscono a rendere l’atmosfera davvero piacevole. I prezzi sono contenuti.

Oasi Verde

05/11/2024: In all of Siena, but also in all of Italy and I don't think I'd say it's nonsense if I extend the action plan to all of Europe, you can't find a store better stocked with gluten free, lactose free and excellent local products! In fact, in the store you can find organic fruit and vegetables, excellent quality meat and fish, but also mouth-watering homemade veg products! The owners are super kind, welcoming and also offer refreshment service with salads, wraps, Cecina, homemade bread and delicious delicacies. As a side dish, but no less important, they also have dried fruit, cereals, drinks and more, all organic and chosen with love to take care of both the customer's body and spirit. Super recommended!
22/10/2024: I discovered Oasi Verde on my last day in Siena and wished I had found it sooner! They offer a variety of healthy products to take away as well as delicious meals to enjoy on-site. I tried a dreamy vegan ice cream and a salad that was simply perfect. It's not easy to find places like this in Italy, and Oasi Verde truly feels like a green oasis amidst all the gluten and sugar. Their products are organic, and the owner is very attentive to ensuring your meal meets your expectations. I would definitely go back!
