Excellent food presented in an elegant manner, kitchen and preparation open to the public, efficient service, staff, three very kind ladies, affable and attentive.

We had dinner and ate divinely. The place was very well-kept, the staff were helpful and professional, and the fish dishes were prepared excellently...,.......Everything was good, from the seafood appetizer to the mussels, from the fantastic grilled octopus to the sea bream....we'll be back 😄

La Barcaccia is a must-see in Peschiera del Garda. A charming location on a barge overlooking the lake, the atmosphere is refined and relaxed. Excellent lake fish dishes, especially the crudités, octopus, and mussels. Friendly and attentive service, and a fair price for the quality. A true gem: we'll definitely be back! 🔝

Midweek lunch. Not crowded, but reservations are recommended. A charming place with a lake view, very pleasant. Very clean. Open grill and fresh fish on display. Wide selection (seafood, including raw). Courteous and friendly staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. They were very present during the meal for any needs. Quick service, with the time needed to prepare the fresh dishes. Excellent quality fish and side dishes, at affordable prices (excellent value). We chose dipped vegetables with house sauce and grilled vegetables, a mixed seafood appetizer (we chose everything steamed, half of which would have been au gratin), spaghetti with clams, grilled turbot, grilled swordfish steaks, and salads. You can request filleting, which was excellent; we requested the turbot skin and head separately, which was accommodated. Excellent experience, highly recommended for lovers of fresh seafood and raw fish. UPDATE (09/09/2021) We returned to try the raw fish and seafood spaghetti. Don't miss the mixed raw fish - top quality, reasonable prices, and generous portions. Truly unmissable. UPDATE (12/07/2025) Returned 4 years later, I found the same courtesy and quality. Friendly, right from the phone reservation. Try again and again.

While looking for a nearby restaurant, I visited after seeing a delicious-looking picture, and was served seafood that lived up to my expectations. I entered around 8 p.m. and was able to sit in right away even though I didn’t make a reservation. The menu we ordered was - Spaghetti allo Scoglio (Seafood Spaghetti) - Grigliata mista di Mare (Mixed grilled sea) and I especially recommend the sea bass and salmon. It was nice to be able to sprinkle olive oil and pepper on it as much as I wanted. +) Since it’s a restaurant floating on the water, it’s a bit shaky, so people who get seasick should be careful.

It was a wonderful evening! We'll be back!

Da fuori non gli daresti un euro, entrando ti ricredi!! Ci hanno dato un tavolo con vista lago e siamo stati accolti da un servizio attento e gentile. Cibo fresco, abbondante e ben presentato prezzo adeguato alla qualità offerta! Super consigliato.

Abbiamo pranzato divinamente una domenica a Peschiera in questo ristorante caratteristico sull'acqua. I piatti di pesce tradizionale tutti ottimi, servizio gentile, ambiente spazioso e accogliente. Ci sono stati offerti anche gli amari e una sbrisolona speciale. Consigliato vivamente e torneremo. Bravi!
