La Baracchina Sul Molo In Viareggio

I've been frequenting the shack for many years now, and I'm happy there as always. The food is excellent and the kindness is never lacking.

It's a favorite place, but unfortunately, on the last three occasions, something has gone wrong. Once the ravioli were very salty, once the tagliolini were loose, once the seafood was watery. I assume something has changed in the kitchen. My rating isn't negative, but I hope you'll soon return to your "recent" glories. In my opinion, it's the most beautiful and characteristic restaurant in Viareggio.

Excellent dishes, competitive prices.

I had dinner at Ristorante La Baracchina in Viareggio, Italy. The sunset we watched from the terrace seating along the canal was truly beautiful, and enjoying our meal while the sky and water were dyed orange was truly a blissful moment. The seafood pasta was full of the flavor of fresh seafood and the seasoning was exquisite. All of the main dishes were carefully prepared, highlighting the quality of the ingredients. The staff were also warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner surrounded by such pleasant service. This is a famous restaurant that you should definitely visit if you visit Viareggio.

The only full restaurant in Viareggio. Fantastic mussels and very good ravioli with fish sauce. Recommended by locals in Viareggio. Nothing to complain about! If you get the chance, go there and make a reservation.

If you want to eat fresh fish accompanied by impeccable service, this is the right place.

A corner of paradise by the sea! My husband and I returned to La Baracchina, and once again we ate divinely. Super-fresh fish, dishes crafted with attention to detail, authentic flavors that taste of the sea and passion. Each course is a small wonder: from the fragrant spaghetti allo scoglio to the crispy and light fried fish, to the homemade desserts that round out the dinner in the sweetest way possible. When I learned the restaurant would be closing until spring, I had no hesitation: we returned three nights in a row! Each time, a different and impeccable experience, with the same warm welcome and smiles from the entire staff. It's rare to find a place like this: authentic, well-kept, and with a real soul.
