La Badessa In Torino

I tried the parmigiana, one of my favorite dishes, and it was really very good, as was the selection of desserts.

Everything was perfect. The mystical location features religious paintings and sculptures. The traditional Piedmontese dishes, reinterpreting the recipes of the monks of convents and monasteries with a contemporary twist... the service from the entire staff was impeccable... what can I say... we'll definitely be back!

An excellent restaurant in an elegant, historic location, with splendid antique paintings on the walls that contribute to a very pleasant atmosphere. We booked on the recommendation of the hotel where we were staying. We opted for the Classico tasting menu: well-executed traditional dishes, three courses plus a choice of dessert, all at a very reasonable price of €50. An excellent Barbaresco accompanied the meal. Attentive and professional service, with great attention to food intolerances, perhaps a little too fast: the dinner concluded in about an hour, a pace that detracts somewhat from an experience that deserves a more leisurely pace. Overall, a quality restaurant worth returning to.

The restaurant is located in one of Turin's most beautiful squares, with a breathtaking view. The warm and comfortable interior, with its decor evoking the concept of the monastery from which it takes its name, is the underlying theme of the menu. The service is welcoming and friendly, and the cheerfulness makes up for a few minor oversights. The appetizers and first courses were very pleasant. The second courses were a bit weaker. All the desserts were delicious. In our case, we chose à la carte, but there are some interesting fixed-price menus, which also seem like a great option in terms of cost. Also recommended for the excellent soundproofing, which is worth the slightly higher price—it should be noted that we chose an excellent bottle of wine. However, being able to have a conversation while eating something good, without hearing what the other tables are talking about, well, that's priceless! Overall, it's definitely worth a visit!

Restaurant well above average, for everything (as you can see from the ⭐️. Of course the price is also consistent and appropriate for the 5⭐️, but if you are willing to spend a lot of € on a cell phone, it follows that - if you love yourself - you will have no doubts about pampering yourself a little. And then what a wine, if you don't know the Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato you don't know what you're missing 😩 !!!

We dined at the restaurant two consecutive evenings during a visit to the city. The wait staff was attentive and fast. We sampled several dishes from the menu, including typical Piedmontese dishes. From appetizers to desserts, everything was exceptionally good. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. The meat, in particular, was amazing, as were the first courses and desserts. We drank a top-notch Barbera d'Asti superiore.

Amazing highly recommendedx definitely must fine here. All plates had distinguishable tastes, from antipasti, to pasta, secondi and desserts. We were also served an amuse bouche and complimentary typical biscuits

I loved it, even though we didn't have a reservation. The service was quick, the presentation was lovely, and the friendliness of the staff was much appreciated.
