L' Approdo In Pachino

We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch. It's a beautiful location, literally on the seafront. The dishes, however, aren't particularly exciting. The cherry tomato, eggplant, and swordfish starter was good.

The staff were incredibly kind; we were treated exceptionally well and treated to delicious seafood. The quality-price ratio was unbeatable.

A wonderful find in Marzamemi. A little pricey, but everything was delicious.

The quality-price ratio is all in all acceptable at €30/40… as long as you're on a diet, because the portions are so small that you risk leaving lighter than when you went in.

Recommended by friends, my girlfriend and I had a wonderful evening dining here. You can park along the street (blue lines and very few white spaces) or you can choose the paid parking at the Marzamemi entrance. Of course, it's always a good idea to book in high season. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the seafood is incredibly fresh. The menu isn't extensive, and the reason is simple: it's heavily based on the catch of the day, and the selection is carefully curated. The wine selection is interesting, especially the local ones, which are truly excellent. The raw fish is truly excellent. The atmosphere is ideal for a romantic dinner or a quiet dinner with friends or family. The prices are fair. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended. We really appreciated the courtesy and hospitality of the owner and waiters. A level of customer service that's hard to find these days, especially in high season. Very good food, fresh fish. Beautiful location with a sea-view terrace. Fair prices.

I went to this trattoria a few nights ago with two friends. The prices are perhaps a little high for a trattoria, but considering the location (on the sea), you can ignore it. However, we had some very good first courses (large plates), a liter of house wine, grilled prawns to share, and some fruit. The only downside was the watermelon, which was very watery. Finally, we even got a great discount on the bill! I'll be back!

Ristorante con una bella veranda sul mare, leggermente appartato dal grande flusso turistico di Marzamemi vecchia. Ci ha stimolato a provarlo il menù non troppo vasto che fa capire chiaramente l’impostazione marinara e con ricette siciliane, infatti vi abbiamo trovato tante persone del luogo, cosa che solitamente ci rassicura. Abbiamo mangiato crudité di gamberi rossi, tartare di tonno rosso e zuppa di cozze, tutti molto buoni e freschissimi. A seguire una spigola alla griglia anch’essa fresca ed una insalata di pachino, immancabile data la zona. Prezzo logico e direi quasi modico. Apprezzabile l’olio da olive selvatiche, fatto dal titolare; un tocco di personalità e tradizione in più. Raccomandabile, almeno per ciò che ho potuto valutare da questa nostra esperienza.

An unplanned lunch & what a treat. Fresh fish beautifully prepared & presented, crisp salad with green tomatoes & fennel & delicious white wine. The setting is lovely overlooking the sea - a little out of the main streets of town but easily walkable. Very good value. Loved it!
