Kalika In Viareggio

We came to Viareggio in February for a week. This restaurant seemed like a cheap and cheerful alternative to more atmospheric places we had been. Maybe it was a bit on the chilly side but not disastrously so. The staff were very helpful and the chefs really knew their stuff. We shared a primi, a secondo, and a dessert. All were top notch. We’ll definitely be back before we leave.

A restaurant with very good dishes, with beautiful dishes and at a good price, especially the seafood dishes. The staff is well organized and friendly. Absolutely recommended!

We found this restaurant by searching on Google. It was a good choice to come, it was worth it. The place is clean and very nice! The dishes are one better than the other, a delight and super delicate. To start lunch in the best possible way, we started with 2 appetizers: a "soccer soup" and "warm seafood salad", both very good but the soup had something extra! Then we continued with 2 first courses: a "spaghetti with seafood" and a "seafood carbonara", a fairytale! The spaghetti with its very delicate flavors reminds you of the sea, it was exceptional, while the carbonara was super creamy and the flavors could all be felt (they didn't overlap). I left my heart with goodness! It was all wonderful! Compliments to the chef! Not to mention the boy who served us throughout lunch, very competent, easy-going and good! Excellent climate! We had a very good time! We were very happy, we will definitely be back! I recommend it!!

The seafood pasta was really nice, the Tuna steak was quite underwhelming

my husband and I ordered two dishes and he found several hairs inside, my pasta was delicious but the clam shells were all empty and for €15 spent on a pasta with clams there had to at least be clams in the shells, the meat completely dry and devoid of flavor, nothing to take away from the kind and friendly staff
