My wife and I are both vegetarians and we claim in all seriousness that our dinner last week at Joia was the best meal we had ever had. The flavors, colors, and aromas, sometimes subtle, sometimes explosive, but always on point. With each course and every bite we could tell we were intentionally being led through an excellently curated experience. We had to choose one of three options offered in the Spring 2026 menu and we also opted for the wine pairings with each course. We will absolutely do this again next time we are in Milan. Pricey but totally worth the experience.

Fine vegetarian cuisine... a unique and unforgettable experience. Excellent, flavorful dishes, impeccable and artistic presentation, attentive yet discreet service.
An added bonus was the sommelier and the wine list, which, combined with the opportunity to try different wines by the glass, made the dinner an even more complete and enjoyable experience!

Been wanting to try the food at Joia for years and finally managed to, sad to have waited for so long but I was not disappointed at anything. Amazing food, very attentive to detail and well prepared staff.

The food is excellent, and the best part is the service. The maître d' and the waitresses elevated the already incredible dining experience even further. The atmosphere is warm and inviting without being pretentious. We will be back.

Overall, very good. This is my second time there, and I have to say they manage to make good dishes using well-thought-out ingredients and subscriptions. The lunch menu during the week is also appreciated.

The "square plate" menu at €35 allows you to discover the chef's excellent cuisine, with generous portions and a bonus dessert.
Ideal for lunch.
Very good wine selection / good advice from the sommelier.

I wish the owners had an ethical stance rather than just offering plant based food. It was sad to hear that they support animal cruelty and choose not to be a vegan restaurant in 2026 ( I acknowledge that in 90s, there might have been a different context). Easy to say we won't come back as we prefer to spend our hard earned money on businesses that pioneer progress.

Extremely nice establishment in many aspects. Aesthetically perfect - spacious but intimate. Great service and attention to detail - no delays or issues. The food was wonderful and the wine was great. The experience is definitely worth it for a special day. The winter tasting menu is my recommendation. I also love the idea of a vegetarian Micheline restaurant. The owner was friendly and explained to us the history of the restaurant which made it a unique experience.
