Absolutely delicious! We each got the vegan square tasting menu with dessert and expresso. The textures and flavors were beyond compare!

Magnificient. Great flavors. Wonderful staff. Quiet, comfortable atmosphere. They have a lovely 5 course lunch with perfect portions for midday dining.

What an incredible experience! Peaceful and elegant atmosphere with polite and attentive service. The food was creative, and even Italian dishes that are usually not vegan tasted amazing as vegan versions. Wines were really exceptional.

Lunch for two, Saturday noon. Personally, I have to say we had a great time; the experience was pleasant. Of all the dishes we received, perhaps a couple weren't entirely to my liking, but that's okay. The only downside was the location of our table; we were close to the kitchen, and it was quite noisy! Given the layout of the place, it would be helpful to better insulate the kitchen.

A very special place for dinner in Milan. Our family of four were delighted, wowed and surprised by the 7-course Discovery journey, were treated with patience and care, and will leave with lasting memories.

Having long been curious to try this Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurant, I must reluctantly say it didn't live up to my expectations. The (savory) food was definitely the highlight; almost all the dishes were very tasty, but almost all of them lacked the element that makes the flavors explode in your mouth, something you expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant and which I've found in other Michelin-starred restaurants where I've tried vegetarian options. The desserts were much worse, finding them completely unbalanced; the small pastries were completely anonymous. The tasting was a negative. We chose a high-end tasting, so our expectations were high. The wines were certainly good, adequately explained, but not at all paired with the dishes they were served with. So if there's no pairing, I wonder, what's the point of having a tasting? Not only did we not perceive a pairing, but they didn't even attempt to describe it to us; Which is absurd, because in other experiences at starred restaurants, each wine paired perfectly with the dishes, actually making the flavors of the dish explode even more in the mouth. The last 14.5 liter glass served with the second course, although a good Barbaresco, was horrendous: you didn't even have time to let it down because you were instantly on to dessert. The worst thing was undoubtedly the service. I certainly found the staff very kind and trying to pamper us. But the result wasn't enough. First of all, I didn't appreciate the fact that we were accompanied, throughout the evening, by about five different people; I like it when in starred restaurants there's just one person who takes care of the table and guides it throughout the evening. But beyond that, I sensed a lot of confusion in the service from the beginning, from the moment they were leading us to the wrong table, to the moment they served us the first glass of the tasting well before the appetizers came out: how can you taste them together? Should we wait for the appetizers to come out so the wine can warm up in the meantime? Or should we drink without waiting for the appetizers, and in that case I ask myself again: what's the point of calling it a tasting—and paying dearly for it? The lowest point was definitely the presence of a piece of fluff in the dessert, which I didn't appreciate. This can happen, as we also told the chef when he came to apologize; but in a restaurant of that caliber, it's best if it doesn't happen, as he rightly said. We did, however, appreciate a €38 discount for this inconvenience. However, even net of the discount, the quality-price ratio (€500 for two) seemed completely unbalanced for a tasty dinner, though not unique in its flavors, and for an experience that was quite flawed.

We had an incredible experience at Joia and highly recommend this Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurant. The service was very attentive, the tasting menus were delicious and innovative, and they offered a choice of food and drink pairings for those who don't drink alcohol. We can't wait to try the second tasting menu.

Joia è un posto speciale. Oltre ad avere una cucina vegetariana spaziale, il personale è molto gentile e professionale. I prezzi sono più che adeguati rispetto al servizio offerto e l’ambiente è curato e accogliente. Consiglio fortemente questo ristorante in cui non vedo l’ora di tornare al più presto !

Ambiente è accogliente, personale gentile e disponibile. Cibo super e pranzo di lavoro davvero un’ ottima formula. Assolutamwnte consigliato!
