Make sure you book!
Especially during the weekend, booking is very useful! To get to the restaurant, just take the ferry from Stresa or Baveno and in 10 minutes you are on the upper island of the fishermen.
The restaurant is very nice with a terrace on the lake.
The food is good (we had both the grill and the fried lake fish) and the prices are normal (starter, 2 main courses, 1 dessert and 1/2 liter of house wine and 2 coffees are €30 per person). Don't expect the "wow" effect on the dishes though!
The waiter and staff in general are very nice.

Great food, great view of the Lake.
A bit slow service but that's part of the island's rhythms. Everything perfect.

Charming location. Excellent welcome. Very varied menu with specialties: Arctic char, whitefish, salmon trout, etc. Very reasonable prices. Friendly and fast service. Not to be missed!!!!

Excellent quality fish, well cooked and presented. Magical location. Wonderful to go to lunch by boat… very pleasant walk around the island after lunch. A bit long in the times but restaurant very full, so it’s ok… then anyway with that view the time passes… everything magnificent!

Amazing views as you sit right next to the water on this cute island. We didn’t have a booking and they were easily able to seat us inside. Most items are seafood based, we got the fish ravioli and the fish tagliatelle. Both was delicious, I loved the sauce with the ravioli. Definitely a great pit stop while exploring Isola Pescatori.
