Restaurant with a view of the lake. We sat outside. Since we only wanted a drink, we were seated at a table on the side without a tablecloth. I felt second-class. At least the table was cleaned when I asked.

This is our second time at Ristorante Italia, and I'm still amazed by the quality of the dishes. Naturally, the lake fish dishes are highly recommended, as they're incredibly fresh and carefully prepared to bring out their flavors. Even simple dishes are enhanced with flavor combinations that make their flavors explode.

Relaxed Italian service with a great feel. Everything is fresh and very good. Very attractive value for money and, for us, a table outside at the back of the building, nicely shaded with a splendid view of the lake. Great success!

If you really want to enjoy the island (and not just be another hectic tourist), take some time in the early afternoon, look for a table on the terrace, and sit down for a proper meal. I recommend to start with the assorted marinated fish for starters, and then have the risotto. They know how to cook fish here! You can also have a glas of the white house wine with it, trust me, it goes well with it. The service is super friendly, once they realize that you actually want to taste their quality and experience in fish. I also saw some ice cream bowls for dessert being served. I did not have any, but they sure looked great. Prices are reasonable, considering the location.
