Huge pizza! I ordered the quattro stagioni! Really quick and friendly service

Il Veliero Restaurant is located near the Bologna train station in a side street and the view from the outside does not give away the treasure hidden inside. I found the restaurant when I was staying nearby and ended up returning every evening during my stay. The numerous table reservations and people waiting for a free table inside and outside speak for how good it is. The service is very kind and attentive and the food is simply amazing! I tried pizza and pasta and everything was perfect. On the last evening I also had tiramisu for dessert and it was out of this world. If you are in Bologna I definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

I dined here with a group of Japanese tourists. There were 11 of us in total, and we all chose different dishes. Some had pizza, some fish, some meat. The service was excellent, and I was truly impressed by the high quality of all the dishes. Both meat and fish were excellent, and the pizza was delicious. I hope to visit this place again.

Really good restaurant with good service, tasty food and nice environment. We had pizza, pasta, salad and fried seafood and everything was super delicious. I could highly recommend a visit here.

Great restaurant, very good food.

Pizza: The crust has an oven-baked aroma, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The tomato sauce has just the right acidity, and the toppings are simple yet complex, delivering a traditional flavor. • Tagliatelle Ragù (Fattened with Meat Sauce): The noodles are al dente, and the meat sauce is rich and savory without being overly greasy, perfectly reflecting the local Italian palate. • Carbonara (Bacon and Egg Yolk Italian Pasta): The rich aroma of the egg yolk blends with the salty flavor of the bacon, with the sauce perfectly thickened and the portion size perfect. • Portions: The main courses are generous; sharing a pizza and one or two pasta dishes is perfect for two people. • Ambience: The restaurant has a warm atmosphere, reminiscent of a traditional Italian restaurant. The oven is located nearby, adding to the ambiance. • Service: The staff are friendly and courteous, and the food is served quickly, making the overall dining experience relaxing and enjoyable.

This is a wonderful restaurant where you can find both pizza and seafood. The pizzas are incredibly large and delicious. There's also excellent seafood, including fish, mussels, and more. Reservations are recommended.

Beautiful and well-maintained surroundings, excellent service, even for someone like me who is allergic to olives and doesn't eat meat (you can imagine how difficult it was to offer me even a decent meal). All the staff were not only kind but attentive, and they succeeded in the arduous task of making me eat very well. My companion had a plate of tagliolini that smelled of the sea... Amazing, highly recommended!

Nos encantó este restaurante. Estábamos alojados cerca de la estación de Bolonia Centrale como estábamos asistiendo al Gran Premio de Fórmula 1 en Imola, y comimos aquí en 2 noches durante nuestra estancia. Encontramos este restaurante en Tripadvisor antes de nuestra estancia. El restaurante estaba muy bien situado, a 5 minutos a pie de la estación. Es muy popular, por lo que sin duda recomendaría reservar con antelación. El servicio era bueno - a pesar de que estaba ocupado, había una amplia selección de comida en el menú (3 páginas de diferentes pizzas) , y la comida que teníamos era muy bueno, y relación calidad-precio razonable. El personal estaba ocupado, pero nos atendió muy bien. Sin duda recomendaría este restaurante y volvería a comer allí si volvemos a Bolonia.

Jeg er sikker på dette sted levere god mad under normale omstændigheder - vi kom en lørdag aften uden reservation - det er en dårlig ide :-) De har super travlt og personalet løber af sted, det var på ingen måde hyggeligt, vi fik plads efter 20 minutters ventetid ved et af deres gadeborde - det var alt for koldt så vi endte med at tage maden med tilbage på vores hotel som resulterede i en slatten pizza - det havde været bedre at de havde bedt os om at finde et andet sted at spise så alt i alt en lidt dårlig oplevelse som vi delvis selv var skyld i - så et godt tip - BOOK bord så er jeg sikker på de kan levere en god omgang pizza.
