The best restaurant in Catania for me, in every respect: hygiene, flavors and value for money.
Every time I eat here I feel at home. The new owner is the most attentive person to hygiene and cleanliness I have ever met in the restaurant sector. During my pregnancy I chose to always come here, knowing I could eat without any worries.
The ingredients are always very fresh, with starters offering a wide choice. The portions of first, second and other dishes are generous, and the quality far exceeds the price. A place I recommend without hesitation!

Typical Catania restaurant. Pretty good food, fairly low prices. The room is spartan but functional. Good for a quick lunch or dinner.

If you want to pay well and cheaply for food, then you have to go to Tubo Catania. Nothing describes this restaurant better than the aforementioned old slogan.
I frequented it almost twenty years ago and nothing has changed since then, in fact, one thing: now the lamps above the tables are LED and there is more light in the room. Jokes aside....
The place itself is very basic, the furniture is very basic, almost sparse, but it's the food we're looking for, so...
The menu offers different courses of first and second courses, sea and land, of excellent quality. Little choice of sandwiches and beers.
The kitchen is open: a rarity. Excellent service. Family atmosphere, "2000s" prices. Well done, keep it up.
