Everything is good, but not exceptional. Zuppa inglese without chocolate is a heresy. Prices are moderately high, the cuisine is quite showy, and the ingredients are of high quality. The wines are good.

One very special restaurant, the food was fabulous quality, one of the best pastas we have ever experienced! & great service as well. A well deserved five stars 🌟 if this was in London we would be there every weekend 😊

Good food with attentive and courteous staff only if you ask for a little more butter for the tortelloni, they tell you that butter costs. This is what I heard from the owner.

Normal dinner from a typical tavern, I tried the petroniana but it was just a mediocre pseudo-cotoletta. The initial carpaccio was good. High prices for mediocre dishes. Very fast waitress and excellent service, very friendly owner.

dopo tanti tentativi di prenotazione sono riuscito a trovare posto. Locale veramente caldo ed accogliente, con personale gentile e professionale. Cucina assolutamente saporita. Una delle migliori tagliatelle al ragù degli ultimi anni. Dolci spettacolari. Buono anche il caffè

Frequento questo ristorante da quando Mecspe si tiene a Bologna, e non mi ha mai deluso. Servizio ottimo, piatti ben cucinati e saporiti. Il titolare è il perfetto esempio di oste 2.0: cordiale ma mai invadente, attento e premuroso. Lista dei vini non sterminata ma di buon valore. Consigliatissimo, obbligatorio prenotare.

04/08/2025: A beautiful, casual place, with outdoor dining in the summer. The staff is young and knowledgeable.
03/08/2025: I stopped with my family on my way off the highway to avoid the rest stops. Excellent choice: a historic, authentic, and comfortable place (the temperature was just right, considering the summer heat). The food was excellent, and the staff was kind and attentive. The pistachio sorbet served at the end was truly special. The service was fast and efficient. The owner apologized for making me wait a few extra seconds at the register, with a disarming smile. What more could you ask for?

29/07/2025: Very nice place with an extensive menu, highly quality products, and a wine list featuring many local products. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth it. Very fair prices.
20/07/2025: Very kind, everything was delicious, absolutely worth trying. Tagliolini alla romagnola with lemon zest was incredible, the best. Revisited cutlet Bolognese, better than the original recipe. Exquisite service, delightful staff. Definitely try it. Not to be missed.
