The food was absolutely incredible, lovely and helpful staff in a beautiful atmosphere. Get the tagliolini with asparagus and culatello if you love your tastebuds!

We’ve been coming here for many years. We were so happy to see that Arnie runs the restaurant now. He has always been so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a great ambiance, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We ate here twice on our last trip to San Gimignano. The carbonara was sooo good. I also had truffle steak which was grilled to perfection, and it was the best steak I’ve ever had in Italy. Don’t miss out on this gem of San Gimignano.

Everything was good, the risotto was killer, the pork cheeks were meltingly tender, the organic wine was also excellent, an address not to be missed The service is really top notch 👍

Returning to the city that hosted you during your studies and finding this wonderful restaurant by chance, to enjoy the excellent cuisine of Parma. Very attentive dining room staff. Good quality/price. Rating 8.5

This restaurant is located a few steps from the cathedral and the pilotta which inside has two elegant and refined rooms while outside we find an intimate and quiet dehor for the summer the menu is linked to the Parma tradition with a touch of class (scenic presentation of the dishes) ate very well everything was fresh only the tagliolini with asparagus I would have liked them tastier selected and excellent the choice of wines professional and attentive service excellent prices for the level of the place.

Impeccable restaurant! Polite, friendly and competent kitchen staff with high levels of culinary knowledge. The staff in the room were clean, polite and professional as well as extremely helpful. Serious and friendly maitre d with love and knowledge of his work. Puts customers at ease. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Parma!

Il Trovatore is a beautiful and well-kept restaurant where you can eat well. Nice to be outside if the weather is good. I recommend the tortelli and trying the desserts which are excellent. The courtesy of the staff, both at the time of service and at the time of payment, was excellent. Inside the restaurant is beautiful and very well kept. I appreciated the cleanliness of the toilet. We will definitely be back!

26/07/2024: The quality of the food, the choice on the menu, the wine list and the service were very good. A little too expensive for what is consumed: - an appetizer with giardiniera - a first - a second - A beer, a water, a glass of wine All divided by two: 50 euros each Ate too many midges outside 🪰
12/07/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant, I believe for their first wedding reception organized on site!... very welcoming and friendly environment. The food...well...very good, the aperitif at the last course...not to mention their must, the culatello!!

18/08/2024: Refined and welcoming place, excellent dishes with refined shapes and flavours. Impeccable and kind service. The price is commensurate with this set. More than positive experience.
