We tried this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who often go there in the evening for pizza. Since we went for lunch, we were able to try the traditional cuisine, which I must say is quite to my liking for the first courses. However, it must be said that they don't turn on the oven for lunch (so we were told), so everything is a bit limited... It's a shame, because the options are all there to make this restaurant competitive with other restaurants in town.
The appetizers were good but also quite predictable, and the desserts were average.
We tried the first courses (pictured), and I must say the gnocchi with meat sauce were very good, homemade with white Pietralunga potatoes. The ragù was excellent...
As for the tagliatelle with truffle, perhaps the butter was added, which slightly altered the flavor of the truffle (perhaps summer truffle), which, being very delicate, faded slightly with the rest of the sauce. However, the tagliatelle were cooked well.
We didn't order anything else, so I'll reevaluate when I go that evening, if that happens.
The service was excellent, courtesy of a very kind, yet shy and reserved young woman who satisfied us in every way... The owner, perhaps a little more aloof and cold, didn't immediately inspire any fondness... but maybe that's just my impression.
The prices and atmosphere are excellent, as is the case with the rest of the area... They're fortunate to be in a town surrounded by scenic views that alone bring peace and beauty to those who visit! The fact that they can offer such prices shows that it's still possible to offer high-quality dining with authentic food at a reasonable price. The fourth star is therefore justified. I hope to be able to further improve this rating soon.

Reading the other reviews I almost feel ashamed. Very nice staff and fantastic location. However, with the cuisine we are not there at all. I had some insignificant bruschetta and a monoblocco carbonara, my friend a pizza, insufficient judgment

We were passing through this wonderful village. Dinner based on truffles, local cured meats and pinsa, all of excellent quality. We will definitely be back.

We had lunch for the first time on Sunday 23/3 with some friends, we had a great time, excellent and plentiful food, very kind staff, we will return and I highly recommend it.
