Entering Il Torchio means immersing yourself in an authentic corner of Abruzzo, where every detail exudes tradition, care, and passion. It's one of those rare places where you feel welcomed even before you sit down, and where every dish tells a story of the region.
Milena and Mr. Michele are the heart and soul of the restaurant: two figures who represent authentic Abruzzo excellence, guardians of tradition while also attentive to the needs of each guest.
Milena, with her natural kindness and a smile that immediately puts you at ease, manages to transform every visit into a family experience.
Michele, with his fatherly approach, expertise, and profound respect for raw materials, prepares, together with his staff, dishes that are a sincere tribute to local cuisine.
The flavors are authentic, intense, prepared with local ingredients and with a care that is evident in every course. From traditional first courses to rich second courses, to home-made desserts, everything is designed to enhance the area's gastronomic identity.
The restaurant is warm and welcoming, perfect for those seeking an experience that combines quality, tradition, and sincere hospitality. It's more than just a restaurant: it's a place where you can breathe Abruzzo in every gesture, every flavor, every attention to detail.
In short: Il Torchio is an unmissable stop for those who want to experience the authentic Abruzzo. Thanks to Milena and Mr. Michele, every visit becomes a memory to take home with you.

A warm and welcoming family atmosphere.
We came here for Valentine's Day and the staff welcomed us warmly and enthusiastically.
The service was perfect: we were served quickly and our dishes arrived simultaneously.
The polenta ritual and the poetry recited by Mr. Michele were beautiful.
The price was truly excellent.
The end-of-the-evening gift was amazing and original: a printed instant photo of our couple!

Impeccable service, infinite kindness, excellent food, their signature dish being polenta, a traditional dish, hand-sliced by master chef Michele, not to mention the desserts. We'll be back soon!

We had lunch on January 1st and chose the €50 menu, which included: appetizer, polenta (the house specialty), a first course, two second courses, dessert, and coffee. Excellent value. The hostess was very kind and made us feel at home. Highly recommended, especially if you want to try the local specialties.

A family-run restaurant in a timeless village that seems almost suspended in the air between the mountains. The food is traditional local, especially the typical "rognosa" polenta, cut with string. The cheese and egg balls are also very good, as is the house wine. Our dog in her stroller was also warmly welcomed. Service was a bit slow (they made up for it with complimentary coffee and pastries), but in a place like this, you should still come slowly, in my opinion. The price is more than fair for a sufficiently full belly at the end of the meal.
