Today we stopped in Monteriggioni and went to eat at the medieval platter. Everything transported us to a medieval climate, we took some very rich and delicious platters, but the specialty are the typical crostoni, we took the one with pecorino and honey and the medieval hamburger, both delicious. The complex, between excellent food and the unique atmosphere, created a wonderful experience, to be recommended.

We were welcomed very well from the beginning and there was no lack of attention; neither in the service, nor in the quality of the food. Take advice from the innkeeper, because he knows how to conquer even the little ones with habitual palates 😉

Yes, eat well, great for a quick, low-cost meal. Decorated in a medieval theme. It is especially worth it for the fantastic welcome of the staff.

We stopped at Tagliere Medievale for a drink. The guys are friendly and kind, an ok aperitif at a fair price, also considering the privileged location right on the main square of Monteriggioni.

Ottimi crostoni con scelta anche vegetariana, cosa non sempre scontata in Toscana! Pomodoro superlativo e personale gentile e disponibile. Torneremo di sicuro la prossima volta. Non ci sono foto dei piatti perché li abbiamo divorati subito

20/10/2024: I spent a special Sunday, the staff was very friendly, the cook was very good at preparing her simple but delicious dishes, I even made the slipper on the plate☺😋😋 it felt like being with family.
