Bewitched by Monteriggioni, we were even more delighted when we stopped to eat at this restaurant in the piazza. We sat down for a platter, but seeing the photos of the crostoni on the menu changed our minds, and we haven't regretted it! We loved the crostoni with pecorino and lard! The one with sausage was also delicious. We liked them so much that we ordered a third crostoni to share, with pecorino, walnuts, and honey. We tried the lemon spritz, a real discovery, and also the medieval spritz... we still wonder what the secret ingredient is :) The service was very friendly and pleasant. After eating, we went upstairs to the inside dining room and noticed how pleasant and charming it was, perfect even outside of summer. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again! Top!

Great place for an aperitif or a meal in Monteriggioni's central square.

We stopped here for a quick lunch, and opted for the charcuterie and cheese platters. We would have preferred a mixed platter, but it's not available; you have to order both. The earthenware platter was nice, although I found my plate a bit dirty. The charcuterie was good, all local; we were a bit disappointed with the cheeses because there were very few pieces, and one was just a caciotta. We expected more, given the fairly high price for a platter of this size. Friendly service

A very cool place in Monteriggioni if ​​you want a quick bite to eat. The waiters were very attentive, always checking to make sure the food was good. Especially their Medieval Burger. The price-performance ratio is very good, although the drinks are a bit pricey.
