A welcoming, warm place, with attentive, friendly, professional, yet very down-to-earth staff. The menu features traditional yet sophisticated dishes. Prices are slightly above average, but we're close to the Duomo, so they're justified. Portions are modest but very tasty.
We had truly perfect pici and an amazing ribollita, and the house wine was truly delicious. A pleasant experience, highly recommended. Service was very quick, which, for those traveling around the city, is a plus.

We split three different first courses to try more: duck pici, spaghetti with Florentine ragù, and pappardelle with hare. All three were delicious!

A quaint place with photo after photo hanging on the wall, mostly of horse shows. The food is excellent, the cold cuts are spectacular, the small ones with hare ragù are very good, and the pasta was obviously homemade, cut well. The host does a lot for the atmosphere, but then again, we've seen him win at "4ristoranti."
