Il Salotto In Milano

Sitting in the historic atmosphere of the Galleria and having lunch there was definitely a special experience. The pizzas we ordered looked very appealing – fresh tomatoes, burrata, and pesto were well-balanced. The flavor was solid, but not exceptional – in a city like Milan, you can definitely get this quality for less. Since the restaurant is located directly in the Galleria, the prices are significantly overpriced. Comparable pizzas can be found downtown for about half the price. As with almost everywhere in Milan, a service charge (coperto) is automatically added, which further increases the bill. The view and ambiance are impressive – if you're looking for a "tourist experience," you'll get your money's worth here. However, if you value good value, you'll find much better options in the city.

Fabulous meal at II Salotto in the beautiful galleria Vittoria Emanuele. Really tasty ravioli as a primo & then Osso Bucco. Food good value. Drinks a bit expensive. But wonderful setting for a special treat.

Came here for the Tiramisu and Espresso. They were delicious!

We came in by accident, it's good that we didn't look at the reviews. We took risotto. Very tasty. Tiramisu, as much as I don’t like it, is simply incredibly delicious. The panna cotta is also very tasty. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

We liked it very much. Contrasting the other reviews we highly enjoyed the taste of the pizza (which was a little bit smoky and with reduced topics as it’s supposed to be). The caprese salad was a little ripoff as ist was only unseasoned tomato but very tasty mozzarella. I highly enjoyed the risotto Milanese. It was very fragrant and slouchy :) the rice was cooked al dente and again, the tast was very delicious.

Sono stato con un amico che lavora nella città di Milano, approfitto delle ferie, quindi prenoto con the fork con un 20% di sconto, locale molto bello con un maitre simpatico, ordiniamo due cotolette con patate al forno, però per il costo, mi aspettavo qualcosa di più grande e qualche patata in più, che 6 patatine arrosto, con 29€ ci si aspetta una cotoletta che esca dal piatto con una marea di patate, vabbè è andata, però con un locale così di lusso, un bagno piccolo davanti alla cucina e senza ne finestra né aspiratore e devi fare anche due rampe di scale per un anziano diventa problematico, non nel mio caso, però... Ha un tavolino così piccolo per due persone nemmeno al bar lo trovo ci stavamo appena i piatti...

Hemos utilizado este restaurante antes varias veces, pero no desde hace unos años. Fue tranquilizador ver el mismo personal todavía allí y el menú muy similar. Están abiertos todos los días excepto el día de Navidad y el menú es bastante extenso, así que hay algo para todos. Hay una buena carta de vinos con muchos al mismo precio razonable, así que un montón de opciones si uno está en un presupuesto. Optamos por comer en interiores, en parte porque era invierno, pero también para evitar la distracción de la gente que pasaba por allí. La sección exterior está protegida del frío y tiene calentadores, por lo que es bueno para una o dos personas que quieren ver a los transeúntes - por! En serio, normalmente nos sentamos afuera en meses más cálidos y está bajo el techo de la Galería.
