Delicious and genuine Italian food. Such kind and welcoming staff. All the food we had was super flavourful! An intimate setting with tables looking out over the Ponte Vecchio. If I could recommend any restaurant in Florence it would be this one!

Visited in March 2013 — I stumbled across this spot thanks to a hunch my guidebook was missing something, and sure enough it was almost on my doorstep in Oltrarno. You walk through a deli counter into a plain little dining room, but the setting is all the better for it — the Arno glints through the window and the food does the talking. Crostini caldo with chicken liver was rustic and just right: fresh bread, coarse mash, spot-on seasoning (8.5/10). Then pappardelle with wild boar ragù — rich, gamey, cockle-warming, and just the kind of sauce that makes you slow down and smile (8.5/10). Dessert was an old-school panna cotta, not gleaming white but softly sweet, wobbly in the best way, topped with pine-nuts, raisins and a splash of vinsanto (7.5/10). No frills, no fuss — just the ethics of Tuscan simplicity, and it works.

Incredible selection of top-quality Tuscan dishes, priced a bit high, but more than understandable given the location with a direct view of the Arno/Ponte Vecchio. If I were less poor, I'd eat there every day.

Amazingly nice. The Lady that assisted us was very kind and helpful, explained all very well, and have great suggestions about the wines. The atmosphere is great, the view🤩, and the food...cooked with love and knowledge! He was singing( love and just for himself) while cooking. 5 out of 5, no doubt!!!

A must go place! The food is fabulously made with love, presence and life joy! The view is amazing and the energy of this place is unique! The waitress is a lovely human being 🌷

Abbiamo pranzato in questo bel locale sull'Arno, con vista Ponte Vecchio. Ottima la proposta e la qualità dei cibi. Bene il servizio, informale ma molto attento. Ci ritornerò volentieri. Consigliatissimo!
