This restaurant serves authentic Abruzzese food made from high-quality ingredients. A humble and gentile man does the cooking and the serving. The tomatoes are deep red and sweet. The basil is freshly picked and aromatic. The salumi is homemade and intense. The cheese is fresh and creamy. The pork was tender and moist and properly served with salad to cut the fat. You will leave satisfied and shocked at the reasonable price. Don’t miss this diamond in the rough of Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

Very particular place that won us over at first glance. It is managed by Silvan, the Magician, who with his kindness and hospitality transformed a simple lunch into an unforgettable moment even in his company. When it happens again, it will be a place to stop, the food is plentiful and very good, I recommend it wholeheartedly!

I discovered this restaurant having a house in Castel del Monte where I often go on holiday. Special and welcoming place. Excellent food with typical local products. The owner is a really kind and helpful person. Absolutely try the lentil soup and the grilled lamb. Fair prices for the quality and quantity of the food. Advised.

My husband and I had lunch for the first time in this beautiful location. The owner is very easygoing and very elegant in his ways. We really appreciated the very high quality food cooked in an excellent manner. Staff very smart and quick in serving the tables without leaving anything out and available for any customer request. We highly recommend it and will certainly return next time.

Simple restaurant with a family atmosphere, good food, very pleasant house wine, low cost. Very friendly and nice owner and waitress. Presence on the veranda of an elderly black cat of which the owner is very fond, I trust those who love cats!

18/07/2024: Location caratteristica anche all’ esterno in veranda fortemente sconsigliata a pranzo per il gran caldo di questo periodo. Ordinato una bistecca al sangue veramente di ottima qualità, saporita, ben frollata forse un pelino avanti di cottura ma comunque buonissima con patate al forno buonissime. Arrosticini tagliati a mano di ottima qualità e cottura perfetta. Servizio buono e personale gentile. Unica nota stonata è stata la temperatura del calice di Montepulciano servito ad una temperatura improbabile, intorno ai 30 gradi, in bevibile a questa temperatura. Un vero peccato perché la bistecca e gli arrosticini meritavano un degno abbinamento. Conto in linea con la qualità offerta. Consigliatissimo ma attenzione alla temperatura del vino (Montepulciano : 16-18 gradi e non a temperatura ambiente).
09/06/2024: Non male la pizza proposta in questo locale. Impasto normale, non credo sia di quelli lievitati 72 ore ma gli ingredienti sono davvero buoni. Personale e servizio vanno promossi assolutamente. Bella l’idea dell’angolo giocattoli gratuiti per tenere impegnati i bambini.

31/08/2024: We ate in the restaurant of this farmhouse for dinner and I must say that we were pleasantly surprised! It is a gourmet restaurant where first and foremost you can savor the quality of the raw materials and the mastery of the chef from starters to desserts. Truly excellent cuisine in the area. Friendly and attentive service. New and welcoming structure immersed in a beautiful landscape.
25/08/2024: The place is very welcoming and the quantity of tables is adequate for its size. We enjoyed some excellent dishes, the ingredients of which are often of their own production. A delicate lentil soup with a small amount of river prawns, excellent crepe timbales with vegetable and saffron ratatouille, tasty spaghettoro verrigni with river prawns, mint and lemon grilled lamb and to finish a delicious pear tart. All accompanied by one of their organic wines, a wonderful Trebbiano mixed with Malvasia. The owner then offered us some gentian and some ratafia made by him. What can I say.... our experience was truly satisfying and I think we will return to taste other dishes.
