IL Pozzetto In Cannara

We had a delicious meal there. We started with a carpaccio, followed by a pizza and a delicious panna cotta. There were four of us, and we all enjoyed the delicious food. The service was very friendly. In short, a good restaurant and a good price. We went again this year and had delicious pasta.

On the road from Chiusi to Castiglione del Lago, I pass through a small village called Moiano. The road is straight, and at a certain point I see a sign, almost hidden, that says "restaurant." My first thought was to go elsewhere, but then I thought, "Perhaps seeing the sign was a sign," and I decide to stop. The road runs alongside the restaurant and leads to a large parking lot. I go in and ask if there's room, and with all the kindness possible, they invite me outside. While I wait, a crowd of foreigners and Italians alike comes and goes, until I discover they also have rooms. I look at the menu and decide: Tuscan crostini, ossobuco, salad, water, and a glass of sparkling wine recommended by the owner. What can I say? I've found Tuscan cuisine in Umbria: old-fashioned handmade crostini, tender ossobuco with the callus and fat, a side dish of chopped carrots and other ingredients in a red sauce, and, most importantly, bone with marrow. Fair prices and quality of raw materials, I recommend you stop by if you pass by these parts, I forgot about the wood oven where they make both meat and pizzas.........by PIRAX

OmG if it's yummy there!!!! In convenient car distance to several "can't miss locations" (Assisi, Citta' Della Pieve, Castiglion del Lago, Perugia, etc), rooms are honest, spacious, ACed and not that expensive!

Chosen as a hotel, but also discovered as a restaurant: it was a very pleasant stay! Hospitable, helpful, comfortable and clean rooms, quality cuisine and generous portions. Convenient location for excursions in the surrounding area: Castiglione del lago, Città della Pieve and places on the lake. I recommend it!

We stayed for two days in May for a tour of the Val d'Orcia, simple but spacious and clean rooms. The restaurant was truly a discovery from the super breakfast to the dinner with excellent quality products, all this accompanied by the kindness and helpfulness of Miriam and Luca to whom our thanks go. Exceptional!! We stayed at Pozzetto one night and had dinner in their restaurant the same evening, it was an incredible surprise. Excellent food, even better service, generous portions and honest prices. Pici, to say the least, spacey 🚀 We left the following morning to continue our tour... however, we decided to return for lunch two days later and it was like the first time, everything was delicious and special. Thanks guys for the welcome, we will definitely be back!

Purtroppo, rispetto alla maggior parte delle recensioni, devo andare in contro tendenza. Il locale si trova a Moiano ed ha uno stile ancienne ma non vetusto. Il servizio esce dall'anonimato con il capo camerieri, che nello specifico si identifica in una cameriera con un fare perentorio, imperativo,senza possibilità di cortese contraddittori. Il cibo: senza sminuire l'impegno ed il lavoro che comunque ci sono dietro, la qualità non supera mai la mediocrità! I prodotti sono buoni ma di qualità bassa, i primi dozzinali,con i sapori anonimi. I secondi e le pizze seguono questo andazzo e non si fanno apprezzare. Alla fine ne esce fuori un pranzo/cena poco soddisfacente,non appagante. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo di conseguenza risulta sbilanciato verso l'eccessivo rispetto all'offerta. Non lo consiglierei come prima scelta per un pranzo/cena.

Very cute staff, food was good, tiramisu was amazing!

Siamo scesi in questo albergo un po datato ma pulito e con tutto il necessario. Siamo stati a cena nel loro ristorante (aperto a tutti) ed e' stata una bella sorpresa. Tutto ottimo e abbondante. Anche il gelato era buono, cremoso, morbido e non un mattone come succede in genere Lo consiglio anche se non ci andate a dormire. Prezzi camera un po alto, ristorante nella media. La colazione un po' all impronta
