The food was amazing!! Try the Milanese Risotto, it was the very best 😍 the service is amazing as well. Would highly recommend.

An all-around successful restaurant! The atmosphere is pleasant, the view beautiful, and the service. The waitress, in particular, was extremely friendly and attentive.
The menu may not be very extensive, but every dish is a hit: creative, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Kudos to the kitchen! The cooking here is done with skill, attention to detail, and true passion!
A good bottle of wine and the evening is perfect.
Tip: Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is rather small.

Excellent dinner served by cheerful and attentive waitresses. We particularly enjoyed the lemon rizzoto and osso buco, the carne salad, and the smoked trout. The fiocca dessert was also refined. A wonderful evening on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Thank you, Il Portale.

I ate here with my parents. We had the marinated salmon and the soft-boiled egg for starters. Both were beautifully prepared and had experimental flavors. For the main course, we had the flat iron steak, fried fish, and crispy pork belly. All three were fantastic, but the pork belly was the star of the show. For dessert, the white chocolate with cardamom and other such items was the highlight. I'm not normally a dessert person, but this was out of this world. The Lugana white wine is also highly recommended. The service and terrace were also wonderful; I'd definitely eat here!

Posizione affacciata sul lago, servizio impeccabile e cortese, piatti insoliti, ma decisamente apprezzabili: in particolare, frittura di pesce e verdure leggera e gustosa. Mio figlio ha molto gradito anche l’uovo a 63°. Ottima anche la focaccia nel cestino del pane. Conto adeguato. Un’esperienza che consiglio.

Esperienza perfetta. Locale molto tranquillo, ampio spazio tra i tavoli e poca confusione. Il cibo è ottimo e il personale di sala molto gentile!
