We came across this restaurant by chance, one of the best known in Spello. We found a place even though it was a holiday; Even though there was little confusion, once we ordered we had to wait a long time before being served. The quality of the food is unquestionable: we took a platter of cured meats as a starter and strangozzi with bacon, pecorino and pistachios and pappardelle with wild boar ragout as main courses; everything really delicious. Recommended especially in the evening for a quiet dinner if you are in this village.

We were lucky to find a free table in this excellent restaurant located in Spello on a Saturday in April which was really full. Fast service, friendly staff. Nice and well furnished environment full of good wines. The first courses we tried were very good: pappardelle with wild boar ragout, strangozzi with truffles, strangozzi with pecorino cheek and chopped pistachios. The platter full of Umbrian cured meats taken as an appetizer. Average prices: 4 people with 3 bottles of water a little more than 80 euros.
A must visit if you are nearby!!

We met with my family and friends visiting Spello and had dinner at this place. Excellent experience, the owner, a courteous and professional person, explained the dishes to us in a sublime way. Excellent welcome from the staff.

We had lunch on a small terrace in the spring sun on a quiet street. The pastas are just as delicious as they looked. Tiramisu and chocolate souffle excellent. The house carafe white wine was also a positive surprise - it went very well with pasta and of course in the mouth.

Almorzamos en Il Pinturicchio en nuestra excursión de un día a Spello, optando por comer dentro. Está catalogado como uno de los mejores 365 restaurantes de Italia y nos quedamos muy contentos con el servicio, el ambiente y la comida. Compartimos una ensalada Caprese, cada uno tenía un primi (Pappardelle al cinghiale y Ravioli Stracchino) , 1/2 litro de vino de la casa, agua, tiramisú y crescionda spoletina y capuchino por 68 €.

Ho pranzato in questo ristorante durante una gita a Spello. Ho preso il tagliere di affettati e pizza al testo per iniziare e fettuccine al ragù di chianina per primo.
Cibo buono e prezzi in linea, il ristorante fa anche senza glutine.
