Il Pierrot Ristorante Pizzeria Bisteccheria In Carrara

Personale molto gentile. Servizi igienici non idonei per disabili. Il menù alla carta è sufficientemente vario, con piatti di pesce e di carne. Il vino al calice è quello della casa, il bianco un po' mosso, ma poi mi servono un bianco del territorio, Baia del sole. Iniziamo con un'insalata di mare tiepida, 13€, buona e ricca; cominciamo bene! Passo a un piatto di pici con vongole, bottarga, profumo di limone (14€), peccato che i pici erano moooolto indietro di cottura (confermato dalla cucina) e non li finisco. Un'orata alla griglia 17€ (che si è un po' asciugata, per essere generosi...) con verdure alla griglia 5€ (zucchini poco meno che crudi). Chiuso la cena con una buona crema catalana 6€. Il pane fatto in casa purtroppo risultava gommoso. Coperto 2€, acqua 2€, calice di vino 4€. Alla fine arriva il pre-conto 65€, ma lo scontrino arriva solo su espressa richiesta. Senza glutine: una rosetta con il coperto, poi possono servire la pasta senza glutine (formati standard) e il fritto di pesce, con farina di mais.

It's not the first time we've come here to Pierrot, we've always had a great time! The staff is friendly, the place is nice, clean and the dishes are made well with quality products. The spaghetti allo scoglio tried today surpasses everything! I recommend it if you are in the Carrara area

Honestly... THE BEST PIZZA we had our entire time in Italy. (We were there for 10 days so we ate a lot of pizza.) The pizzas were imaginative, gourmet but humble, and the ingredients they used together was awe inspiring. There are so many restaurants to choose from but you will be sorry if you don't get a chance to try their dishes. I'll be talking about this dinner for years to come.

Very cozy outdoor area and the pizza tastes great

We had a lunch and dinner at Il Pierrot. During lunch time they have a good fixed price for a lunch set and the food was really tasty. In the evening we had a nice dinner starting with a warm seafood salad that was large enough for two people to share. I continued with a good pizza and my wife took octopus that was cooked to perfection. Finished the meal with tiramisu, sorbet and a shot of nice Talisker whiskey. The staff had a really busy night, but the lady serving us did it with a smile. The owner (I think) was also friendly and had a few moments to chat. Price level is reasonable for the quality. Pizzas under 10 EUR and main courses in the 10-15 euro range. All in all, would recommend!
