Un pesce fuor d'acqua (in senso letterale e positivo) in un Valdarno dove chi ama mangiare pesce non sa mai che pesci pigliare: da non confondere con locali limitrofi, che di simile hanno soltanto il nome: consigliato, anzi, OBBLIGATO.

Great place to eat both meat and fish dishes. We ate an excellent and abundant fried food. Average prices. Good value for the quality of the food. The interior of the restaurant is very nice even if we ate outside given the hot period.

Well done. Considering that it is absolutely not a tourist place, (and therefore fortunately quiet) they are really good. Excellent cuisine: few dishes, very well cared for and with top quality raw materials. Good wine cellar too. The six of us, dead tired, made a big mess with the order and they, all splendid. Fede, very nice. I would like to go back.

05/10/2025: Returning after years, we found the same quality. High-quality ingredients, such as the excellent meat, and seasonal products like the delicious porcini mushrooms. Excellent value. The rustic and welcoming atmosphere of a typical Tuscan trattoria. We'll be back for the pizza, because there are few places where it's still cooked in a wood-fired oven!
18/09/2025: A very pleasant surprise. Excellent restaurant, competent and friendly service! Just a few minutes from the Camaldoli Monastery. It's not very noticeable from the road, but after climbing a few hundred meters, a large parking lot opens up and the restaurant is completely surrounded by greenery (several walking trails also begin here). The Pappardelle alla Cacciagione (game-filled pappardelle) are a must-try...sublime!!
