During our week in Rome, we had lunch and dinner there which we thoroughly enjoyed. Local specialties at very affordable prices.

I’ve eaten pizza here twice and both times it was amazing. The pizza called “Papa Francesco” was especially delicious. The owner is very friendly, humble, and welcoming. You can really feel the warm atmosphere of the place. Highly recommended!

Absolutely gorgeous food. I had the daily special of gnocchi in gorgonzola cream source. Would definitely recommend.

I came here to try the pasta, especially the pasta of the day, which was really very good. At this restaurant I tried some carbonara and also gnocchi with gorgonzola. Another dish I tasted was gnocchi with gorgonzola and sausage, which was very delicious. So far I have only tried the pasta here, but the pairing with Ribolla Gialla wine was very nice. They also make their own supplì. A special compliment also to the waitress Cristina, who is very friendly, professional, and great at giving recommendations. We had the absolut best culinary experience here. Food was amazing, amazing combination that helped us feel the taste of Rome. Location is central, but not crowded, it is a small family run business, cozy and intimate. Mrs. Cristina was such a pleasant company and helped us choose the best food. Best experience in Rome. Highly recommend!

Fresh pasta, great tiramisu and good service. Waiter/owner seems very knowledgeable and competent. Authentic Italian experience. If you’re in the area I recommend. Not expensively priced, it does not include a service charge on the bill, so make sure to leave something. 5 ⭐️

I went to Rome at the end of December and stopped to eat at Il Nipotino del Solitario. It was the best restaurant I ate at during the trip. The food was absolutely delicious. If I return to the Eternal City, I will definitely go back there. I recommend everyone visit the restaurant.

Decent enough, but nothing exceptional. The waiter wasn't very pleasant; we were practically yelled at because we had trouble understanding why the desserts weren't available. Not very professional. Furthermore, the restaurant boasts on a chalkboard at the entrance that there are no hidden charges, yet we were charged a 10% service charge, making it the most expensive item we paid during our entire stay.
