Let's start with the assumption that if you're looking for a typical Milanese restaurant, don't go there. You'll be too happy with the hospitality. My husband and I were craving southern Italian fish, and to our surprise, this restaurant thrilled us. Not because of the elaborate dishes, but because of the simple ones. The mother prepares a fish soup with tomato sauce that truly takes you back in time. Davide, the son and owner, is incredibly kind and has maintained the classic table service approach that I adore, as does my husband. I highly recommend you go because the fish is fresh and the ingredients are truly fantastic. Giulia and Paolo.

Mieru Mieru is a portal to Puglia in the heart of Milan. Upon entering, you rediscover the authentic flavors of the Taranto culinary tradition and travel in spirit to the shores of the Ionian Sea! The fish is of excellent quality and the preparations are impeccable. I highly recommend the mussels au gratin and the calamarata with redfish for an explosion of flavours! The service is genuinely friendly and retains that typical warmth of southern hospitality, where cooking for others is a gesture of love. We will return to Mieru Mieru every time we want a hug from Puglia in Milan!
