Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia In Milano

We had dinner at Aimo e Nadia a few years ago. We ate à la carte. The overall experience was positive, but an unfortunate incident marred the evening. Some toothpicks hidden in my meat were forgotten while assembling my plate. While the head waiter reacted appropriately immediately, the chef approached us at the end of the dinner to explain that it was "something that could happen." The restaurant is an institution steeped in tradition, worth trying at least once.

Excellent tasting menu, we chose “TERRITORI Alessandro” but changed the first course for the famous tortellini stuffed with ossobuco, a must-try in my opinion!

Simply outstanding. The staff were professional, attentive and warm. The decor was refined and provided a suitable backdrop to the food and impeccable service. The food was outstanding and inventive without being contrived. Every dish made sense and was in harmony but still managed to surprise. The quality of the ingredients was clear and the flavors were balanced and robust. The teams was incredibly accommodating to our vegetarian and pescatarian guests and modified the tasting menu with a smile and deft hand. A deep and fairly priced wine list with a knowledgeable and friendly sommelier added to the experience. Our table had a view of the kitchen and it was a delight to watch the team perform a culinary ballet. The chefs both spent time with us and were charismatic and genuine. I am hard pressed to remember a meal as fondly as this except thinking back to Bouley in the late 90s. I would not hesitate to go back and would plan a trip to Milan simply to dine here again. Bravo!
