Recommended place! Now I'll explain why: Let's start with the environment, well-kept, welcoming, clean and with excellent ambient music. Really fantastic food, really splendid starter, first and second course. Crostoni with porcini mushrooms not too strong but really tasty, the pinci all'aglione delicious and the peppery stew really excellent. One of the best meats I've ever eaten, it melted in your mouth! Bonus for tiramisu not "creamy" but nice and sweet, recommended! Last note to the staff, we were served by a professional, courteous and kind guy. Really wide choice of wine with a good selection of half bottles for those who drink little.

Eravamo in giro per Montalcino e ci siamo fermati a pranzare al Grifo. Non avevamo letto alcuna recensione e la scelta è stata del tutto casuale! Il locale è ben curato e il servizio lo abbiamo reputato professionale e gentile. I piatti proposti nel menu sono tipici della tradizione toscana ed in linea con la qualità attesa. Ottima la carta dei vini e prezzi nella media. Consigliato!

Very good food. High quality. Professional staff. Fantastic environment. The products used are excellent. The restaurant is easily accessible, it is in the center of the town.
