We found a table for lunch on Sunday without a reservation. Prices are in line with the rest of Montalcino; we ordered rabbit and acquacotta with roast potatoes. The main courses were average, with the potatoes being decidedly poorly made. The service was a bit cold, but that's in keeping with the type of place.

Long waiting time for the order, small portions, quite "stiff" service. One of the ordered dishes (grilled vegetables) was missing and an additional bottle of water was added to the bill. It all came together to make a rather disappointing impression.

Food was slow and expensive for the portion sizing. Service was average, it would be nice for the service staff to be a bit more welcoming. The lasagnetta was the only non red-sauce pasta dish on the menu and was small and disappointing for €18. Great selection of wine albeit pricey

13/05/2025: I give 4 stars to the food because we only tried the bagged chips. But the cocktail was very good (both). The place has an old and elegant style, good music and the service was the best, they give you advice and explain what each cocktail has. I recommend you go for an aperitif or dinner. Fair prices for the quality (€8/€10 for a cocktail, €6 for a glass of wine and €5 for a draft beer).
06/05/2025: We hired the White Dog to provide the open bar for our wedding in Poggibonsi. They were incredibly professional and communicative throughout the process and did an excellent job the day of the wedding with delicious cocktails and drinks that all of our loved ones thoroughly enjoyed. They also had a really beautiful bar setup at the venue. We would highly recommend their services to anyone.
