Everything wonderful. A mandatory stop for anyone coming to visit Montalcino. The food was incredible, perfection, from the starter (bruschetta) to the dessert (pinci, faraona, vegetables and potatoes; tiramisu and pistachio panacotta). Excellent wine list. Excellent service, with great courtesy and friendliness. Beautiful decoration, and attention to detail. We love it. We will certainly be back! Thank you Mille!

If you like really good pizzas, you can't ignore IL GRIFO. This was the best pizza I've tried in recent years. The bottom was top, cross and the thickness was perfect. The topping is unique, fresh and really first class.
I was thinking about ordering a second pizza. But that would be too presumptuous.

One of the best restaurants in Montalcino. Excellent food and prices in line with the place. I give 4 stars only because the portions are a little too small and you leave the table almost with "regret", while a restaurant, to be "TOP", should guarantee that sense of satisfaction in the customer of having eaten well and above all the right amount . Ordering grilled vegetables and being brought "wafers" of aubergines and courgettes, so transparent that you can almost see through them (I use the paradox only to give a better idea) can certainly satisfy the aesthetic sense but certainly not the stomach.

Wasn't expecting anything special, but was by far the best dinner I've had in Italy in the last 10 days. Great pici, perfect tagliata and cantucci with moscadello. No wonder the store was full. Everything was fine.

In the center of Montalcino, slightly away from the more "walkable" streets. We did well to extend the route (slightly). Excellent food and service.

Locale pulito e curato all'inizio del centro storico di Montalcino.
Cameriere attento e disponibile. Forse un pò caro nel rapporto quantità/prezzo soprattutto il primo che poteva essere più abbondante anche se si vedeva che i pici erano tirati a mano e fatti in casa. Tagliata buona ma non eccelsa.
Complessivamente lo consiglio anche se, come detto, si può migliorare eccedendo con la quantità delle porzioni.
