What an unbelievably fantastic experience at Il Gatto Nero. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality, décor, and service were all absolutely on point. The staff, Andrea, Beatrice, Simone, and everyone we interacted with, made the evening truly special. We will definitely be back. We had some of the most amazing food we’ve enjoyed during our time in Italy, which is really saying something, because the food here is exceptional everywhere. The savory crème brûlée and the artichokes were standouts among the antipasti, and the spaghetti with zucchini cream was completely out of this world. To top it all off, my wife accidentally left her scarf behind. When we called, Beatrice, the manager and possibly the owner, personally made plans to return it to us the next day in Como Centro. That kind of care and thoughtfulness goes far beyond what anyone would expect. It was a genuinely touching gesture in a world where you rarely see that level of kindness anymore. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish.

We'd been there years ago and had fond memories of it, romantic and unique. On Saturday, I found the place VERY expensive, very dark (the waiter told me to use my cell phone light to read the menu), and the menu wasn't exceptional either, definitely not for the price I paid. Too bad.

High-end restaurant. Quality, friendly staff, and location are features that make Il Gatto Nero... unique!!!! Highly recommended.

Every time I come, you amaze me with the impeccable food and excellent service! Besides friends, I also brought an internationally renowned Chinese actress, and she was also very happy with her lunch at Gatto Nero. I'd like to return more often and try different menus. Thank you so much!!
