Beautiful restaurant located in Porto Ercole excellent food I got gnocchi with cream exchanges and for dessert berries with cream I spent €50 and high level staff the prices are high but recommended for couples

Excelente servicio y calidad del pescado. Se nota que este restaurante ha estado alrededor y sirve buena comida con un servicio impecable. En el interior no estaría de más atenuar un poco las luces para crear un ambiente más cálido e íntimo. Pulgares arriba! Volveremos.

So for the time of year , mid to late October there are not a lot of choices and this restaurant i believe is in the guida rosso so should have been better. But it might have been had we been able to eat a la carte instead we were warned beforehand there would only be a fixed menu for 42 euros available which we accepted. The trouble is with a fixed menu you need to get every course right and you need to make sure there is not too much food. On the bright side they have a good range of antipasti and the gnocchi was pretty good — flavor and cooking wise although there was very little actual seafood, just shells. The big disappointment was the secondi, Overcooked prawns tuna and scallop brochette. The deep frying of some of the antipasti also meant by the main course we were not v hungry anyway. Which is terrible if the quality of the food isn’t good. That said the wine list was good and we enjoyed Terlan and Jermann. Also interesting local sparkling wine from Santus. Moral is steer clear of any fixed menu. If they are willing to serve a la carte I would give them one more chance. I don’t know if they try on the fixed menu often though or if we were just unlucky!

Buona offerta di antipasti e primi piatti. Spaghetti alle vongole ben fatti. Idem gnocchi con crema di scampi. Qualche dubbio sulla frittura di paranza. Personale molto efficiente. Prezzi alla Porto Ercole.

Had to leave a great review after our fantastic experience & seeing that so many bad reviews were left here. I own a restaurant in New York and have a travel business where we bring clients on culinary tours in Italy. I’ve been to many places and this restaurant hit all the marks. Service attentive but not overbearing, wine was great, and food incredible. We found the pricing for the product to be fair, you can certainly get a cheap meal if desired but I should suggest to get the gambero rosso pasta as its Devine. We started with a four year old local white wine and fried shrimp, then clams pasta & their flagship shrimp pasta for primi. Finished with grilled catch of the day that was prepared simply, with respect to the freshness. The view is also beautiful. Perhaps we have more patience and understand the value of fresh organic cuisine than others. Great job to all. We will be back soon!

Spectacular place: top view, fast and kind service, excellent local wine, exquisite seafood cured meats with a refined plating, cod with very delicate Jerusalem artichoke cream and exceptional scampi cream gnocchi! Overall, highly recommended!
