A true institution! Everything is always fresh and delicious! Nothing else to say, just go and try it! I recommend making a reservation because, like all places where I eat well, it's always quite busy!

What I ate was excellent. Fast service. It was too loud; I couldn't talk to anyone at my table or hear what they were saying. I ate in the area just inside the entrance on the left. I don't know if the noise is quieter in another room.

La Nuova Fraschetta

17/12/2025: Quiet place (perhaps we went during a non-peak hour) with good food. Enjoyed the classics of tagliatelle with beef ragu (bolognese) and tiramisu. Appreciated the friendly service and complimentary bread too.
24/11/2025: The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner and the girls were incredibly kind. I come to Bologna often, and this was my first time at Nuova Fraschetta. I had the best gramigna with ragù ever. I can't wait to return.

Bitone

22/01/2026: Bitone has a fantastic location: the building is very characteristic and the ambiance elegant. The staff and service are excellent. However, there are some significant issues: first of all, the prices are high, higher than those of a Michelin-starred restaurant (which is incomprehensible). The selection of dishes is traditional, with no innovative experimentation or unusual combinations. The price of a standard plate of tortellini is €30. The welcome drink has been the same for the past four years (mere crostini with cheese), and every time I go, they don't have any options for those with lactose intolerance. Furthermore, all the desserts contained lactose. I think it's a serious problem that a restaurant with such prices doesn't have any options for those with lactose intolerance. This needs to be addressed.
