I'll start right away with the positive things, certainly the owner very very kind and courteous, quite dated place but still has its charm that can be liked or not liked, let's move on to the sore point I ordered a plate of pasta with clams, fresh pasta that had a decent creaming, but had a flavor I would say very far from that of a classic pasta with clams, it had a flavor of vegetable broth, which perhaps they used to cream, it was very spicy and completely missing garlic, in fact I left practically all the pasta, I'm very sorry to write negative reviews but I want it to be taken in a constructive way and not merely as a negative review, see you soon.

Ristorante zona Pigneto. Molto frequentato. Specialità pesce e cucina lucana che viene più volte rappresentata nell arredo del locale insieme a tante foto anni 50 60 del Pigneto oltre ai personaggi famosi che sono venuti nel locale: un tocco di modestia.
Preso pesce. Antipasto di mare buono porzione scarna. Amatriciana di pesce. Ottima e abbondante. Vino della casa passabile. Prezzo intorno ai 35 euro a persona. Servizio professionale adeguato al posto. Tempi lenti. Prezzo alto considerando la zona anche se la qualità è buona.

Conoscevo già questo ristorante, ma ogni volta che ritorno è sempre una piacevole e succulente sorpresa. Ieri sera abbiamo apprezzato, tra l'altro, il caciocavallo lucano preparato " all'impiccato" ( appeso su una fonte di calore e lasciato sciogliere lentamente ) con tartufo e peperone crusco di Senise. Una prelibatezza. Da provare. Vogliamo parlare del sorriso di Sandro ? lo cheff che ti accoglie e ti accompagna con i suoi consigli, suggerimenti e antichi detti Lucani. Cosa si può dire di più ? Provare per credere.
