It's not my first time there, and I can confirm that the food is excellent. Prices are medium-high, but it's worth it. Service is impeccable. The place has a rustic feel, with lots of vintage photos on the walls. The spaghetti allo scoglio is amazing.

Traditional and delicious. A must-try. The focaccia is a dream, as are the homemade cavatelli pasta. The bruschetta Lucana with truffle is also a poem.

Had dinner at this cute restaurant. The service was great our server was awesome and informative. The only problem we had was the “chef” or that’s what he thinks he is, is a complete idiot he yelled at my wife because the lobster was slimy and not fresh at all.

Il Gabbiano al Pigneto is well-known and has been a regular among me, my family, and friends for many years. Ten years ago, I booked a surprise dinner at this restaurant for my husband's 60th birthday. It was a resounding success, and I remember it fondly.
The food is excellent, especially the Lucanian dishes. The staff is extremely friendly and happy to offer recommendations. Highly recommended.

Ristorante zona Pigneto. Molto frequentato. Specialità pesce e cucina lucana che viene più volte rappresentata nell arredo del locale insieme a tante foto anni 50 60 del Pigneto oltre ai personaggi famosi che sono venuti nel locale: un tocco di modestia.
Preso pesce. Antipasto di mare buono porzione scarna. Amatriciana di pesce. Ottima e abbondante. Vino della casa passabile. Prezzo intorno ai 35 euro a persona. Servizio professionale adeguato al posto. Tempi lenti. Prezzo alto considerando la zona anche se la qualità è buona.
