We've been there several times, everything is really good and above all well cooked, the owners are very kind and the staff also make you feel at home.

The staff was very welcoming and sweet to us and the food was amazing. The Scoglio Del Gabbiano in particular was with fresh seafood and was worth every cent. Definitely visit this place

We had a wonderful time, it was a wonderful place, and the staff who welcomed us were very kind and welcoming, even though it was a little late at night. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Rome.

Very well-kept and beautifully decorated restaurant Excellent service I ate there for lunch with my family and we were very satisfied Excellent Lucanian cuisine, the attention to detail is very characteristic We ate the famous peperoni cruschi Cavatelli with sausage and fennel, mouth-watering And for the main course, beef meatballs in tomato sauce with eggplant, accompanied by an excellent wine recommended by the owner (a very kind and friendly person): Aglianico Rosso I think I'll be back soon.

Restaurant with old-fashioned flavors. I've been going there for over a year now and I've always had a good time, the restaurant is family-run, Sandro the chef and Samuele the head waiter, they are definitely the pillars of this restaurant that has a very large menu with a section dedicated to Lucanian cuisine, Sandro's homeland, which he has managed to bring with many typical dishes. The products are always very fresh and homemade from appetizers to desserts, something rare to find around, the portions are abundant and the main thing is that the dishes are really good. Excellent for parties, the room is large, the environment is rustic but very welcoming. I recommend it to everyone.

Ristorante zona Pigneto. Molto frequentato. Specialità pesce e cucina lucana che viene più volte rappresentata nell arredo del locale insieme a tante foto anni 50 60 del Pigneto oltre ai personaggi famosi che sono venuti nel locale: un tocco di modestia. Preso pesce. Antipasto di mare buono porzione scarna. Amatriciana di pesce. Ottima e abbondante. Vino della casa passabile. Prezzo intorno ai 35 euro a persona. Servizio professionale adeguato al posto. Tempi lenti. Prezzo alto considerando la zona anche se la qualità è buona.

21/08/2025: Excellent and plentiful food, fast table service, very efficient and friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The only downside: the bathrooms were full of spiders everywhere; for me, a spider-phobe, it was a nightmare to go in. Please clean the bathrooms more thoroughly so we'll be happy to stop by.
16/08/2025: A pleasant bar for a stop after exploring the trails or waterfalls of Monte Gelato. It's on the way to the municipal parking lot, so it's convenient. We paid €6.50 for a can of Coke, an espresso, and a lemon grattachecca. There's not much wind, but it's quite cool.

La segreta mentana

31/07/2025: This isn't my first time eating at this restaurant. I go there whenever I feel the need to eat unique, delicious food prepared with incredible passion, and I assure you, this is evident in every dish. Absolutely top-quality meat, excellent cured meats, and out-of-this-world desserts! Impeccable and attentive service. Congratulations, keep it up!
21/06/2025: I have been there several times and have always had a good time. Venue: Characteristic with stone and brick and exposed beams, it creates a romantic atmosphere and is great for couples. The exterior is on a charming square in Mentana. Cuisine: The guys offer a menu with seasonal products. Good meats, even aged, they also have a good cellar. The selection of cured meats made with game is special. I also recommend the first courses which are really good. Service: always ready to give you tips, the waiters are good, it is often full so they trot around a lot but remain polite. I really appreciate those who make an effort while remaining patient. I highly recommend it. But book!
