We ate cold cuts and bruschetta with artichokes and liver pâté, excellent fettuccine with ragù and boscaiola and cacio e pepe ravioli with cherry tomatoes, all delicious and with great friendliness from the owners. Good value for money.

Auf der Durchfahrt hier eingekehrt und eine sehr gute, bodenständige Küche mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Service erlebt. Auf unsere Wünsche ist man gerne eingegangen und das Lokal bietet einen nette, italienisch-ländliche Atmosphäre.

From the outside it looks like an old village restaurant. It turned out to be an elegant place with attentive and fast service, excellent pork fillet and fried artichokes, pappardelle with wild boar and fabulous ravioli, highly recommended

Stop for a quick lunch, we only ordered 2 first courses. Good and quality. Service a little slow....we waited quite a long time considering that the place was practically empty. Maybe outside they were busy with aperitifs but in the internal room there were 2 tables.

Il Frantoio is a historic place in Capalbio, a meeting point for aperitifs, cultural activities, and also a bookshop and eco-friendly boutique. The environment is pleasant and the atmosphere is friendly. Then there is the restaurant: elegant, original and with a beautiful fireplace in winter, a beautiful terrace in summer. The food is very good and there is a good wine list. Prices are a little high but worth it.

02/05/2025: Mangiare all’Oste Scuro è un’esperienza, sicuramente i punti vincenti di questo ristorante sono la qualità assolutamente pregiata dei prodotti e la grande esperienza del proprietario che con calma parla di ogni singolo piatto in modo da far comprendere profondamente al cliente quanta passione e cura ci sia dietro. L’ambiente è accogliente e molto tranquillo. Altro punto s favore è l’ampia selezione di vini, ovviamente di qualità. “Dulcis in fundo” i dolci, da provare. Assolutamente consigliato A+++

14/05/2025: Chic atmosphere with a view of the small port. Dishes with attention to detail and delicious. Attentive and non-invasive service...applause to the kind and very polite owner in her manners and in recommending the dishes. We can't wait to go back.
