Unexpected. Pleasantly unexpected. In a Rome suffocated by overtourism, a little place where you can eat quickly but with excellent quality. The pizzas are good, the supplì are good, the service is good. Excellent prices.

Very friendly, very good food, and excellent value for money. The staff is truly welcoming and pleasant. They spontaneously made the effort to speak French, which made us very happy, especially since we were trying our best to speak Italian—a wonderful two-way exchange. Fast, attentive, and friendly service. A very good experience that I recommend without hesitation!

Il Delfino is a Roman bar-pizzeria-restaurant located 10 meters from Largo di Torre Argentina; it's been in the same location since 1956, serving locals, tourists, and passers-by. The place is pretty much the same as ever (for some "aspiring" Local Guides, a review is—alas!—a bit shameful), but it's quite welcoming and clean, even the restrooms. The owner and staff are attentive to their customers, as well as polite and kind, especially to those who deserve it. That said, you can enjoy a simple coffee, a full breakfast, a good pizza, or a lunch featuring traditional Italian and Lazio cuisine. In particular: the cannelloni, carbonara, and the uncommonly delicious amatriciana are excellent! I've read blatantly false reviews mentioning jugs of water, which aren't there because the water is served exclusively in bottles... unopened! The main courses are also very good, such as the chicken cutlets, breaded and lightly fried and easily digestible! The prices are very fair, including table service, and most importantly, there are no surprises, as they are the same as those listed on the menu and confirmed by two clearly visible signs in the dining room! Highly recommended!

Centrally located, family-friendly restaurant. Good value for money. The friendly staff and owner are particularly welcoming. A quiet, cool atmosphere makes for a great break throughout the day. The coffee is delicious.

A very familiar and homey atmosphere with unbeatable service. Its location in the center of Rome and the excellent value for money make it a key strategic point for pilgrimages and group visits to the Eternal City. It also offers a peaceful and revitalizing stop for private visits.
