Nice restaurant on the lake shore.

As always, this restaurant is excellent. Four of us dined, some with lake fish, some with starters and main courses. Everything was very good, with adequate service and excellent prices.

I would recommend the tiramisu steak lasagna pasta. The same can't be said for the pizza on the kids' menu (i feel bad for the kids american school pizza is better than this frozen horror). Also, oddly enough, there's a bag of free pasta on every table that's reserved. But the sevace is very, very slow. The merengue tasted like a 5 year old grape eraser that's dipped in saw dust. in all, it's a fine 3.5 star restaurant won't recomend it

A favorite spot on the lake! Legendary lobster pasta... we've loved coming here for 20 years, by boat or car, anything goes! So beautiful on the water!

A truly pleasant lakeside setting, with young, attentive, and courteous staff and fast service. The menu offers dishes ranging from traditional lakeside cuisine to Lombardy specialties, as well as seafood and a summer menu of salads and light dishes that met everyone's expectations. What more can we say? We spent a very pleasant hour in the shade and cool of the lake, enjoying a romantic view and a delicious lunch.

It's my "favorite place," and it's where my family and I usually celebrate our anniversaries or simply enjoy a good meal in a beautiful place, and we've never left disappointed. The table overlooking the lake, the view, and the silence that surrounds us, interrupted perhaps by the sound of cicadas, is the most beautiful thing I could wish for my lunch break, so I try to go there as often as I can, both privately and for business lunches. And it's where I had dinner a few nights ago with some friends from Germany, and again, we had a wonderful time. Welcome by Mattia and Palma, we sat "under the trees," a slightly more informal spot than the beautiful terrace, which, however, in the height of summer is always a little warmer at lunchtime and a bit windy in the evenings. Unlike last lunch, where I experimented with lake dishes, which, no, will never be my favorite (carpione fish isn't my thing, but the rest of the fish was delicious, ed.) This time we opted for a "great classic": grilled tomino cheese for me and then a delicious "pan-fried" version my friends requested, with mussels and clams instead of calamari. Well, I'm sticking to the original recipe, but even so, it was delicious!! With the appetizers, we also ordered some wonderful au gratin scallops (we went from 3 to 6 to 9!), so I can confirm that seafood remains my favorite and the restaurant's strong point. We concluded the meal with some desserts: from meringue (from Bar Italia, ed.) to nougat semifreddo Up to the strawberry and mascarpone semifreddo (delicious). As always, we were offered pistachio and licorice liqueurs with our coffee. Then, we chatted under the stars until it was time to say goodbye. A truly successful evening thanks to this setting and this delicious dinner. Thanks to Mattia and his staff, and to Andrea for the food. (Not to Giancarlo, but only because he was at the theater with my ticket!!!) I can only recommend "Crotto del Lago" and... I'll be back soon! Il posto è molto bello, proprio sul lago. I piatti serviti però non erano di gran qualità, la polenta con i missoltini presentava una polenta troppo granulosa e l'affettato aveva un qualcosa di vecchio. Conto piuttosto alto per rapporto a qualità e quantità. Peccato perché il servizio è cordiale e veloce.

Il posto è proprio accogliente. C'è la possibilità di mangiare fuori proprio sul lago con vista sui monti circostanti. La qualità dei piatti è molto buona. Carne, pesce, di tutto
