A favorite spot on the lake! Legendary lobster pasta... we've loved coming here for 20 years, by boat or car, anything goes! So beautiful on the water!!

Ample parking, not to be underestimated given the street where the restaurant is located.

An exceptional and relaxing LAKE VIEW lunch.
Mattia was professional and friendly from the start.
When I booked, I kindly requested a LAKE VIEW table, and we were granted it.
I also requested a simple variation of a dish, and Mattia and his team were also up to the task.
We ordered: fish pâté, tagliolini with lime tomatoes and sea bass tartare, perch ravioli, and a dish of perch and whitefish with butter and sage. Excellent quality.
Very beautiful and characteristic location.

Every time I return to Porlezza, lunch at Crotto del Lago is a must. The atmosphere is very relaxing, with an enchanting, and picturesque view of Lake Lugano. This year I celebrated my birthday, and my guests were thrilled with both the menu selection and the quality of the products used. Given the name "Crotto del Lago," they were expecting simple, rustic dishes, but the mid-August menu was rich and very refined. We had a variety of meat and fish dishes, all excellent. Finally, the pistachio liqueur was the icing on the cake. In fact, that afternoon, my guests went to the family shop in Porlezza to purchase it. Thanks guys, it was a spectacular birthday lunch.

Il posto è molto bello, proprio sul lago. I piatti serviti però non erano di gran qualità, la polenta con i missoltini presentava una polenta troppo granulosa e l'affettato aveva un qualcosa di vecchio. Conto piuttosto alto per rapporto a qualità e quantità. Peccato perché il servizio è cordiale e veloce.
