Without a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants in this area. Paulo, the chef and owner, along with his lovely wife make you feel so welcome. From the appetizers to the 1st and 2nd course where truly outstanding. All food is with traditional Apulian basics with added flare. We could not believe how reasonable the prices were.
When traveling in this area again, I will make a special effort to have dinner at il Cortiletto.

I was there on Monday 22nd September to celebrate my birthday. The owner Mr. Paolo was kind and the waiting time was right and he surprised us with a fabulous menu. We are ready to return and I recommend it to everyone.

On this vacation back to my Lucera roots, we stopped here for lunch twice, and before we left, we already booked another. I'm not posting photos because I'm not used to it, and I'm not even in the habit of leaving reviews. But in this case, it's a must. This restaurant is run by chef Paolo and his wife, who work directly with their customers. Knowing that today was my partner's birthday, they even prepared a special menu just for us! The dishes are freshly prepared (which isn't a given), and the menu changes daily, always using the freshest ingredients. I think it's the best place to eat in Lucera, and not only that, I think it's among the best in Italy, both for the quality of the dishes and the customer service.

A very nice restaurant in the center of Lucera, housed in a beautiful historic building. Excellent cuisine with bold flavors and beautifully presented dishes, as well as good value. However, the lack of a menu with prices displayed is questionable, especially for the wine list, and above all, the service, which was very cold and unfriendly, especially considering the low attendance at the restaurant as we were the only customers.

The best culinary highlight of our Puglia trip, II Cortiletto delivered exceptional food—the tartare was phenomenal! The atmosphere and service were also amazing. Highly recommended, and we will return every time we are in Puglia!

La capacità dello chef unite al servizio attento in sala della moglie fanno di questo ristorante già un ottimo biglietto da visita. Il ristorante mi è stato consigliato e non mi ha affatto deluso, piatti ricercati ma non troppo, ingredienti del territorio ma non solo, portati al tavolo coi giusti tempi e temperatura, cantina interessante. Tra un’infinità di ristoranti non rimarrete delusi.
