The best fish restaurant in Calabria

Inconspicuous restaurant that really impresses! The food was excellent, especially the calamari starter along with the seafood starter platter. I had the involtini di pesce spada and was very full, even if it seemed like a small portion at first. Will definitely come back - thank you for the great evening!

The food is very good however there is too much apparent difference between the customers at the different tables. It seems to me that all customers must be treated in the same way….what arrogance of the head waiter…. It’s a shame because the place and the cuisine are very good.

We had dinner here two consecutive nights. I only tried pizzas and desserts. The mortadella, pistacchio pesto, stracciatella and mozzarella pizza is very good, without 🍅. It's a pizza to repeat. Less tasty was the Sapori di Calabria with Nduja, potatoes, roasted pepper, Tropea onion and mozzarella. Nduja was missing and there were leftover potatoes cut into small cubes. I didn't like the lemon tartufo 🍋, the classic chocolate one was a little better, although I've tried better ones. The ricotta cannolo is correct. The service is good. Tables in the picturesque alley of the historic center. Because it is one of the busiest restaurants, it is advisable to reserve a table. Interesting is the underground cellar in the main room seen through a glass floor. Cost: Mortadella pizza: 10 euros. Pizza Sapori di Calabria: 9 euros. Lemon tartufo:5 euros. Classic tartufo:5 euros. Cannolo: 5 euros. 1 liter of house rosé wine (jar): 12 euros. 1/ liter red house wine: 6 euros. 1/4 of house wine: 3.50 euros. 2 🍴 cutlery: 4 euros. We were there on June 21 and 22, 2024.

Typical dishes and friendly staff

Great restaurant, everything fits here. We ate here twice and everything we tried was delicious. Antipasti, pasta dishes, pizzas, fish platter, dessert we had nothing to complain about. An extra dish was made possible for a person who eats vegetarian food. Price/performance is great, affordable prices, great quality. The service is quick, thoughtful and very friendly. The location is wonderful, especially outside, but also inside. Unreservedly recommended.

The pasta with seafood is very good, extremely fresh. The spicy pepperoni “A Vampata” pizza was amazing. We also recommend the local white wine, it is comfortable and delicious.

Avevo sentito parlare di questo posto e devo dire che le mie aspettative sono state soddisfatte alla grande! Antipasto squisito, cibo buonissimo! Tra i primi consiglio i ravioli con capesante e gamberi! Si scioglievano in bocca! Deliziosi! Prezzi medi, ottima qualità! Servizio veloce e personale gentile! Lo straconsiglio!

Siamo stati in questo locale 2 volte, è stato un piacere per il palato e soprattutto nel vedere quanto i camerieri si danno da fare e corrono in su e in giù e cercano sempre di trovare un tavolo anche per chi arriva senza prenotazione, veramente ottimo lavoro, bravi ragazzi! Soprattutto una ragazza mora riccia un ragazzo alto con capelli rasati, a colpo d'occhio sembravano essere i capo sala. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di provare il ristorante, piatti semplici e buonissimi, la fine del mondo erano le linguine pistacchio e scampi! ho rammentato il piatto per tutta la vacanza e lo faccio tutt'ora ☺️ e anche la tagliata di tonno con cipolle che aveva preso il mio compagno era strepitoso, e solitamente a me non piace il tonno! Molto buona anche la pizza! Unica pecca se proprio vogliamo trovarla, carta dei vini un po' troppo ridotta. Ancora complimenti, siete stati il miglior posto dove abbiamo mangiato in tutta la Calabria!
