Il Ciliegio In Monterosso al mare

Hello, Two seafood dishes, grilled vegetables, fries, bread, wine, sparkling water...€85. Very good, Nice setting, Five stars for the atmosphere...we were alone 😉

Pleasant in the evening despite the lack of view due to the fact that it was dark, the dishes are good. However, there was a long wait between courses, we left before dessert because of the wait in the cold even though we were the last table. The knives were not suitable for shellfish, you had to attack with your fingers but there were no finger bowls.

The steaks are a must! Aged on site, cooked over a wood fire... Even before tasting them, the smell of the wood fire hits you upon arrival to whet your appetite. A big wow. Our server Jesse was extremely courteous. The restaurant is located in the mountains and we took a taxi to get there. He offered to take us back to Monterosso on his own, which wasn't necessary but very kind of him.

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Ristorante Il Ciliegio 5Terre! The restaurant is located on a hilltop, offering beautiful scenery and a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset if you’re lucky. The food was outstanding — we had the mixed grilled seafood and meat, squid ink gnocchi, and seafood pasta. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent too. Our waiter (Sky) was engaging and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The owner went above and beyond by personally driving us to and from the island center, which made the whole experience even more special. Between the stunning views, warm hospitality, and top-quality dishes, this restaurant is a true gem in Cinque Terre. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended if you are in Cinque Terre Monterosso. Definitely the best meal I’ve had in the area and probably the best that I have had on my trip to Italy. Many of the restaurants in old town were decent, but did not compare in quality and taste to Ristorante II Ciliego 5 Terre. The seafood pasta was amazing. All ingredients are local and the pasta is made in house. Get the cheesecake for dessert. The service from our waiter, Sky, was also awesome. Also- plenty of parking. Don’t skip this restaurant!!

We were picked up in town, by none other than the owner. Taken to the heights of the tops of the mountains. First we were greeted to a stunning sunset view of Monterroso, only to be blown away by the smell of wood fire and meat. Amazing service, cocktails and wine. Then we had the grilled seafood platter, the ribs, and the tomahawk steak. All were amazing! Whisked home by Jonathan the owner after he took some last minute photos of us. This is an experience you will never forget!

We did the Pesto class. Very informative and easy to learn. We had enough food to eat plus they gave us water, soda and wine. The view is beautiful.

A perfect evening. Courtesy, excellent food, fast and friendly service. The focaccia tiramisu was unique! The terrace is an unforgettable place. Definitely worth repeating.
