I went there for a communion lunch and I'll start by saying that the place was almost full and there were other tables celebrating other communions. In situations like these, a drop in quality and service often occurs, however I must admit that the quality of the food was excellent and the service was punctual. The menu consisted of an encore of first courses, gramigna with a red sauce and gnocchi stuffed with meat sauce, platters of cheese and cold cuts, mixed grill and cooked vegetables. All good and homemade, generous portions. Very friendly staff and beautiful location. I can't say anything about the price because lunch was offered.

Excellent dinner, all homemade, friendly staff, clean and very nice environment

I went to this place for lunch with my group of friends. The food is simple and homemade, but that doesn't mean it's any less good, on the contrary. We ate the sausage and artichoke tagliatelle, the spicy gramigna pasticciata and the mixed grill, and all the dishes were truly delicious! I particularly liked the gramigna, spicy at the right point, which I highly recommend. The variety of meat present in the grill is also excellent. Each of us ate 2 first courses, grilled meat, a side dish, and a dessert, as well as coffee and limoncello. With also 2 bottles of water and 2 bottles of red wine, in total we spent €34 each. Price more than fair in my opinion. A huge honorable mention to the waiter who served us, very nice and always ready with a joke. Lunch really made us happy! Overall, a place I highly recommend!

I have been frequenting the Cloister occasionally for 35 years. I have always found the dinner excellent, the service given by the managing brothers and the beautiful medieval room. If I really have to find a flaw, I would focus on the acoustics.

Stuffed gnocchi 🔝, a little expensive but worth it

C'è poco da dire, "il chiostro dell'AVIS" è sempre una certezza. I sapori sono quelli autentici della cucina marchigiana e la qualità del cibo è sempre molto alta. Conosco questo posto da anni e non mi ha mai deluso. I primi sono davvero buoni: consiglio le tagliatelle ai ceci, la gramigna e la polenta (che però non è sempre disponibile). La carne è di ottima qualità e i dolci danno una perfetta conclusione alla cena (suggeriti i dolci stagionali).
