Atmosfera tranquilla e rilassata con il caminetto acceso. Personale molto gentile, il cibo molto buono soprattutto nelle porzioni abbondanti. Prezzi in linea.

The best 'coccoli' I've ever tasted! If you, like me, are a fan of this traditional food...then this place is your place. They came out with a delicious cheese and to my surprise, an incredible chestnut jam and the mix was fantastic. The pici with 'walnuts and sausage' were incredible too!

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars, is due to service. Our food was delicious, the fireplace was super cozy and welcoming, unlike our server. He seemed to have a chip on his shoulder the whole time we were there. He did his job, but you could tell he would have rather been doing anything else. Maybe he had an off night, but it definitely made the meal not as enjoyable.

I had dinner with my family on the weekend without booking. We had a very good time. Food with local and traditional products. An excellent wine of its own production. I recommend it!

All delicious as always. Friendly and present staff, very kind owner. The exquisite food, starting from the highly recommended coccoli, to the pici all'aglione which are always a guarantee, to the tortelli with ragù. The tiramisu is also very good. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, excellent both in summer in the cool garden and in winter in the room with the fireplace.

Ho messo 4 perché i tagliolini al tartufo sapevano un po' di poco... Ma i pici all'aglione erano strepitosi, così come anche il peposo!!!! Non sarà stato di classe ma la scarpetta l'ho fatta! Ambiente soft e camerieri gentilissimi. Ci torneremo volentieri!

15/12/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questa osteria, prendendo crostini di fegatini con tartufo (buoni e ben conditi), ravioli di patate al ragù (anche questi delicati con un ottimo ragù), tagliata (superlativa), torta di castagne e cantucci. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon chianti Cosa non trascurabile, il conto più che onesto. Consigliatissimo
02/12/2024: Following a Sunday hike we decide to reach Osteria il Castagno thanks also to the advice of some friends The place seems to have stopped in time with many historical references which I appreciated Fast service, dishes and honest prices I really enjoyed the crostini with livers, and the encore of roe deer stews and wild boar
