The food was incredible and atmosphere was gorgeous. There were mostly locals dining here, don’t think there was another tourist group. You really can’t go wrong with the dishes, they all blew us away (minus the side insalata)! We ordered all three desserts as well, the flan was an absolute dream.

Il Caminetto del Chianti is located along the Chiantigiana road between Grassina and Greve. Excellent location with a classic Tuscan atmosphere, like the menu, and a beautiful outdoor area. Attentive and courteous service. Tried several times for dinner and have never been disappointed. Excellent appetizers, Ficattole and squaquerello to die for, the same for first and second courses from Pici all'aglione to the Florentine steak. Excellent quality/price ratio. Recommended!

Celebrated our son's eighteenth birthday, informal but nice environment, very kind staff, they handled all our requests with professionalism, varied mixed starter and all very good, steak and grilled meat accompanied by an excellent fresh salad and roast potatoes, recommended

04/07/2025: Very good schiacciata, crumbly 💯, very kind staff, tidy and clean place. €26 for two schiacciatas and two spritzes, we will definitely be back!
15/06/2025: Looked good walking by. Went to go at 18:00 as listed on Google, but a handwritten sign changed the hours to 18:30. Maybe next time.

27/06/2025: Very friendly employees everything is delicious cappuccinos espresso, pastries, breakfast lunch we went there every morning for nine days in Florence Italy I give it a five star did I say how friendly the employees are they would come out and to hug you every morning🌹🌹🌹🌹🎂
