We happened to be in the area and decided to eat here. We had a great time. We had the pappardelle with wild boar ragù, vegetables, and wild boar stew casserole. It was all delicious! I'd love to go back.

Discovered by chance on our way home. We ordered an appetizer for two (three ate), generous with local cured meats and cheeses. For the first courses, we tried tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, tagliatelle with truffle, and gnocchi stuffed with truffle fondue, truly delicious. We were already full when we arrived, but we decided to order a rib-eye steak to try their grilled meat. What can I say, superb. If you're in the area, it's a must-see. I highly recommend it.

A quaint place. Original beams, ancient brick vaults, original stone walls. What can I say about the menu? Well-curated, respectful of tradition, high-quality ingredients. The staff was extremely kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient despite the large crowd. Thank you so much for your experience.

I found myself by chance while driving around with my truck trying to find a suitable place to stop...well there's not much to say, excellent food, friendly and capable staff, very competitive prices, I recommend it

A good place for a quick or more substantial lunch. We had lunch here in early December, and the facility seems well-equipped to accommodate any request, including the pool and playground. Not bad.

02/03/2026: Four stars because we leave room for improvement. Excellent food, from appetizers to first courses, excellent meat dishes, and a wide selection of wines, including the house wine. Excellent service, right down to the desserts. Highly recommended. Perugia deserves another visit just to return to this restaurant. So we'll see you again in March. Excellent value for money. Okay, I'm not allowed to leave a new review, but after three months I returned and they confirmed the quality and professionalism throughout. 👍👍👍
27/02/2026: I had dinner with my wife this evening at Cantinone, and I must honestly say that the staff is extremely professional and kind. The dishes are of high quality and in adequate quantities. The price is very fair for what we ate. (In Liguria, we're used to higher prices, and clearly much higher.) The only thing I sincerely recommend improving is the wine by the glass. An excellent restaurant like Cantinone should offer its customers the option of a good glass of wine. This evening, the only wine available by the glass was the house wine. Congratulations, anyway.

02/02/2026: Discovered by chance... the food was excellent, carefully prepared dishes and generous portions, and the atmosphere was family-friendly and very quaint. The girls serving were extremely kind.... What can I say? Sara, the owner, is incredibly friendly, compliments for everything. I highly recommend it.
26/12/2025: We had lunch with friends and were completely satisfied with the meal we had at this trattoria located in the historic center of Città di Castello. Both the tortellini in broth and the fried lamb were excellent, but those who ordered appetizers and various cuts of meat, including side dishes, were equally satisfied. A place to recommend, definitely!
