December 2024, we liked it and we went back, everything was really good, we must try the foil packet with seafood, a real pleasure, good and fun to eat. The lady who served us at the table was very kind. Thanks and see you soon. Visited Feb 2024, the place is simple but welcoming, very good food and fresh fish. The mixed fried food was much appreciated by everyone, fried but not greasy. Waiting times perhaps a little long between courses but this is not necessarily a flaw and helps the conversation between diners. Average price, thanks for the hospitality. Bonus parking adjacent to the restaurant.

I have been several times and it is always a delight to eat excellent fish. Fresh and cooked to perfection. The owner, Rosa, a very kind person. Suggestive place. I highly recommend them to try. Few places in Umbria have I eaten as good fish as at Cainone.

Very good pizza, and nice restaurant. But close to the road so a lot of traffic noise. We had challenges with the waiters who spoke poor English and were very short and uninterested. Didn't seem like they like tourists as they seemed very polite and attentive to Italian horses. Still recommend this place as the food was good

06/10/2024: Update after 5 years, October 2024. Unfortunately the fryer has changed hours. It is open ONLY FOR LUNCH. However, I leave the review from 5 years ago Special fryer! Lago menu or traditional fried dishes, excellent. Excellent value for money.
15/08/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale, è una piccola trattoria abbastanza spartana ma abbiamo mangiato molto bene e i prezzi sono giusti, ottime le fritture e i tagliolini con il pesce di lago, ottimo anche il servizio, torneremo sicuramente...
