A restaurant from another era, located in an apartment on the first floor of a building in the village of Pari, a village well worth a visit. The dishes are excellent, but patience is required: the grill is in the (small) fireplace in one of the dining rooms, and preparation takes a while. The inability to pay by POS and/or credit card is unforgivable, unforgivable, and probably even illegal... The one star for service is due to this serious shortcoming.

Time passes for everyone, and even the legendary Siro, a few years ago, handed the reins over to his son.
While under the old management you could accept the lack of a menu and prices, as well as cash-only payments without a receipt, that's no longer acceptable.
And even more so with the prices being much higher than in the past.
And the quality of the food isn't what it used to be (except for the cold cuts and steak).
I'm not saying the food is bad, especially for those who didn't come here when Siro was there.
With him, it was a whole different story,
a shame.

We stayed on the upper floors of the trattoria. I liked the accommodation because it had the authentic atmosphere of the place. In the evening, we had an appetizer and wild boar stew. Everything was delicious. The only downside is that they don't accept POS, which could be a problem for some.

A charming place, like the entire town. The staff speaks only Italian. We opted for the porcini and venison pasta. The dishes were very tasty. For 4 people, with wine and water, the bill was €70. We recommend the restaurant. We had a wonderful time :)
