Il Buco In Sorrento

Service - The service was courteous. However, I was bothered by the fact that they did not clean up the bread crumbs and oil drips that accumulated on the table during the meal, but only before dessert. Atmosphere - We sat in the new part of the restaurant, a large and bright space, but lacking character. (In contrast, the first floor does look inviting and romantic) Food - It was delicious, but without the sophistication or creativity that usually characterizes Michelin restaurants.

Huge disappointment for a Michelin Star restaurant. Appetizers and entrees presentation was beautiful but the taste was very bland. Service was mediocre at best - not what was expected from a restaurant at this level. Pastry chef and desserts were exceptional. This was a birthday and anniversary dinner that was a big disappointment.

I was very much looking forward to an amazing experience with a 10 course meal. Oddly, we only got 5. We were never asked our dining choice. That said, the chef came out and talked to the three of us about what we wanted. Each of the. Purses we did get were amazing. The ambiance was fantastic. The service was … adequate. We had odd wait times between courses, we felt kind of ignored. A nice touch was the chef stopping by after 3 courses to check in, but all in all, we felt unseen. Again, the food was exquisite. The ambiance was unique and fun. If you’re celebrating something special while in Sorrento, check out Il Buco. It’s worth it.

One of the best food experiences I've had in a while. Superb service and food. This was for our wedding meal and we were treated like royalty. Considering we are a large table of 14 people, everything seemed effortless. Lots of options were given to our vegetarian friends. A lovely experience from start to finish.

Some of out of this world experience, exquisite presentation and food, on a beautiful setting in the centre of Sorrento. You can choose a table on different levels, all with its own charm and setting. Heartly recomended.

Para nuestro deleite, nuestro conductor recomendó este pequeño restaurante cerca de la Plaza Tasso en Sorrento. Especialmente señaló que los mariscos eran deliciosos y el ámbar que pedimos ciertamente lo confirmó. Il Buco es íntimo, acogedor y romántico, con un servicio ejemplar y comida fantástica. Las selecciones de bandejas de pan solo valió la pena la visita. El camarero era absolutamente fenomenal y amablemente hizo sugerencias más ajustes a nuestros platos como lo solicitamos. Alguien apareció mágicamente con comida cada pocos minutos, y todo estaba delicioso. El vino fue realmente fabuloso y el postre de limón vivirá en mi memoria para siempre, un sabroso homenaje a la mejor fruta de Sorrento. Il Buco es caro y vale cada euro. ¡Qué placer!

Toda la experiencia fue fantástica. Situado en un rincón increíble del casco antiguo, il buco tiene un ambiente inolvidable que prepara el escenario desde el principio. Nuestra comida era increíble, y el servicio era simplemente excelente. La presentación fue magistral. Y casa - hecho limoncello al final fue un increíble acuerdo final.
