We received a very warm welcome and were served promptly. Our pizza and house wine were excellent. I would go back if I'm in the area.

We had a very good meal there, and the price/performance ratio was okay. However, they recommended the daily special "salad with fresh mushrooms" for our starter. Unfortunately, we didn't ask for the price! And then we got a rather tiny salad with a few sliced ​​mushrooms and a few shavings of Parmesan cheese for a whopping €15. We also had a mixed salad, twice the size but without the mushrooms, for €6. We consider the daily special a rip-off, a shame for an otherwise great restaurant. This is what profit maximization looks like. We'll definitely come back to Massa Maritima, but not to this restaurant. I really wonder if you really need it.

Pizza was a big disappointment to be honest. Didn‘t taste of much. Pasta was okayish but nothing special. Would not go there again.

If the mushrooms in the calzone hadn't been canned, I would have given it at least one more star. Just mention it on the menu, then people will know. I never thought I'd have canned mushrooms in the calzone in Italy.

Tourist restaurant with extremely fast service, you can tell the main goal is to keep the tables turning. The food is good, but I've had better food elsewhere. Overall, okay, but not unforgettable.

19/05/2025: Nach 2 Jahren sind wir endlich wieder mal hier. Der Fisch aber auch das Steak ist unglaublich gut. Heute gab es vom Chef selbst gebackenes Brot auch dieses ist unvergleichlich gut.
10/05/2025: Bel ristorante con ambienti ricercati . Abbiamo pranzato in veranda in una meravigliosa giornata di sole . Accoglienza calda e cortese del Sig Alessio che con signorilità di altri tempi ci ha coccolato per tutto il pasto . Le pappardelle e i ravioli maremmani al ragù ci hanno stregato per la loro bontà . Complimenti vivissimi.

18/10/2025: We often come to Castiglione della Pescaia and regularly stop to eat at this restaurant. The owner is always kind and cheerful, as is her daughter, and every time we come, we're satisfied with the menu. We highly recommend it.
04/10/2025: Finally, in Castiglione, a restaurant with a varied menu, and every dish is cooked to perfection and tastefully plated. The quality of the food is excellent, and the service is courteous and friendly, making this place a must-try. Especially worth trying are the fried baby squid, the semolina octopus, the Sardinian-style spaghetti, and the lobster pici—there's so much to choose from.
