Six of us ate the set menu. Some chose the fish menu. Some chose the meat menu. Everyone was extremely satisfied with the quality of the food and the various courses, which weren't so overwhelming that you're already full after the second starter. Of course, the main course was outstanding. The house wines were excellent, the service was super friendly, and we would have liked to rebook a table for one of the following days, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible.

We had such a great time at I Quattro Mori Hostaria. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and every member of the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive — they made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, full of authentic Italian flavor, and the wine was excellent. Everything came together perfectly for a memorable lunch near the Vatican. Highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine hospitality and great food in Rome!

Wonderfully delicious and very fresh! Had the vegetarian platter - oh my! And the artichoke! Friend had the amatriciana - fabulous!

Gran hostería tradicional que está justo al lado de la carretera principal en Aurelio, cerca de la calle. Plaza de Pedro. Pasamos por aquí en algunas ocasiones, pero no nos aventuramos ya que desconfío de los restaurantes que no muestran un menú afuera. Sin embargo, los lugareños y los turistas más aventureros parecen no haber sido postergados, ya que el lugar a menudo está lleno de gente. Nuestro lugar original para nuestra última noche en Roma había cerrado temprano, así que pensamos que le daríamos una oportunidad a este lugar, y estamos contentos de que lo hicimos. Tomé saltimbocca, una primicia para mí, y Shona optó por una carbonara. Ambos eran de muy buena calidad.

09/10/2025: A relaxing, pleasant, and cool place. The food is good, but could be simpler to better showcase the ingredients, which are sometimes overpowered by too many sauces. The service is friendly and professional.
06/10/2025: Lovely restaurant on the Appia Antica. Stopped for lunch after our bike ride and had a delicious light lunch. The pasta was delicious. The mixed salad was enormous and enough to share with 2 or 3 people. Wine and amaro selection is good. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The quality of interior design, tables and place settings was high. We ate outdoors, which is a more low key vibe, but indoor dining is suitable for a special occasion. I would definitely stop here again.
