In two weeks, two dinners, one with friends and one with my life partner; there's a reason, and I'll tell you. The atmosphere is deliberately simple, like the typical trattorias you find in Emilia-Romagna: clean and comfortable, you feel right at home. The service is discreet, always present at the change of courses, and full of suggestions. The food is a wide selection, including typical Ferrarese dishes and expertly blended with the surrounding area. To date, I've tasted, first, Ferrarese salami pie, chef's grill, second, Ferrarese pasticcio with truffle, and "vellutata" (velvety) polenta with salami... well, gentlemen, I absolutely must return for a round of just the latter, Her Majesty the Polenta, soft and velvety, paired with a variety of toppings...
