Hotel Grand Menaggio In Menaggio

Here for week - first night a disaster as very noisy onto street and room a throw back yo 1980s - 2 star at best . Bathroom could not swing a cat . We moved room next day to front lake view ( had to pay a lot more ) , room very dated also and in attic of the hotel . At least quiet , and spacious and a decent shower . The whole place needs a serious upgrading . The outdoor area is lovely as are the staff , breakfast is average , lunch good . We would have checked out but for the location . It’s not a cheap hotel and not value for money .
