The Hotel Bencistà in Pietrasanta offers everything you could wish for a successful stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, and quietly located. From the moment you check in, you feel the attentiveness of the staff – friendly, professional, and warm at the same time. The free upgrade was a pleasant surprise and rounded off the stay perfectly. Overall, a place where everything is just right: atmosphere, cleanliness, service, and location.

Excellent location and cleanliness in the recently renovated rooms, including the bathrooms and windows (great considering the traffic on the seafront road). Breakfast is available until 10:30 am, featuring international and local products. It's very good, and hot drinks are served by attentive and friendly staff. The only flaw is the decentralized administrative management (Rome), which results in only half-day staff and a lack of maintenance. Upon arrival, the room's shutter broke, and the common areas and facade could also use some TLC.

15/06/2026: Great, local bar. Beautiful patio. Guila is very warm and friendly. Perfect spot for morning coffee and croissant or afternoon cocktails.
10/05/2026: Very nice- traditional and relaxed place. I had breakfast here and came back 2 times. Friendly owner and good coffee and very fresh croissants crema/pistache. Love the small authentic terrace.

19/07/2026: Wonderful location, surrounded by greenery, well-kept both inside and out, welcoming and helpful staff, food with excellent raw materials and cooked in a simple and tasty way... I recommend stopping by, also the price is fair... and then there is also a relaxation corner with sun loungers in the greenery.
12/06/2026: After a hike in the Monte Altissimo area, we stopped for lunch at Rifugio Le Giobe and were truly satisfied. We started with a perfectly prepared giardiniera (fresh pickled vegetables) and polenta crostini with a truly excellent tomato and mushroom sauce, simple yet full of flavor. For our first course, we had tagliatelle with game, rich and well-seasoned, and for our second course, stewed venison, which was tender, flavorful, and cooked with great care. With drinks, a amaro (a bitter aftertaste), and even a portion of giardiniera to take away, we spent €88 for two. Considering the quality of the food, the portions, and the location of the refuge, the value for money was excellent. You don't come here for the spectacular cuisine or to take photos for social media: you come to eat well, with local products, mountain recipes made with passion, and a genuine atmosphere that is becoming increasingly rare. If you're passing through Monte Altissimo, it's definitely worth a stop. I'll gladly return.
