I asked my hotelier at ca’segredo where I could get a good Venetian meal. He did not disappoint. My family had a wonderful experience here with the family who owns and operates this restaurant. We had several small plates - the scallops on shell still stand out to me as I write this, years later.
You can fall into a lot of tourist traps in this city, this is not one. Eat here.

The restaurant is very well located, the decor is beautiful, and the service and food are reasonable. We ordered carbonara and a shrimp pasta. Some of the appetizers were good, others not so much. The wine served was disappointing.

Wonderful, authentic place. Service was excellent, the waiter was kind and professional. I really wanted pasta for lunch, but it has to be gluten free.
This place serves gluten free pasta as well as the usual kind, and my GF seafood pasta dish was excellent. I would really recommend this place as a great spot for lunch, you'll get great food for a reasonable price, especially considering the quality.

Changed management compared to two years ago. It was a bit of a disappointment. The prices have not increased but the quality of the food in my opinion has deteriorated a lot. We had two grills, water and a glass of wine. The environment is always characteristic and the service is courteous. We were alone in the room

We ate outside at the end of April. The restaurant is located in an internal pedestrian street, usually very crowded, but on Monday evening it was quieter, friendly and non-invasive hospitality, excellent food, from appetizers to main courses, we did not take the desserts, but they looked very good. Typical Venetian cuisine, it is not a tourist menu so absolutely recommended, with reasonable prices.

Nous sommes allés en famille déjeuner en terrasse et nous avons été très ravis de l’accueil et de la qualité de la nourriture
Nous conseillons l’araignée de mer fraîche servie en entrée et ensuite le fameux risotto à l’encre de seiche. Il est difficile désormais de trouver à Venise des restaurants servant des risottos. Aussi le filet de bœuf aux grains de poivre vert frais et croquants servi sur un toast et sa sauce légèrement citronée : un délice
Même si des commentaires annoncent des prix élevés, ils ne sont que la conséquence de produits frais bien cuisinés
